DEATHGRIP Grappling Tape (1.25cm)

I have been using this tape for the last week of so. So far it has been holding up extremely well, the old tape I used would roll up and come off of my fingers. This tape is so good it is a pain in my balls to take it off after class. Great product would definitely recommend!!!

This tape does a great job of keeping my mangled wizard fingers as close to intact as possible. I sweat a lot and noticed that single strips were coming off when I rolled. I just double wrapped and it stays put! Thanks to Grappling Dads Kip and Paul for the suggestion.

Really wanted to like it. Good size and nice smooth finish.You may or may not like the lack of stretch, less than traditional cloth tape like climber's tape, I like a little stretch so I can wrap fingers firm but still flex them to grip collars and sleeves, a personal preference. BUT.... Doesn't stick well. After warmup at bjj the ends of each finger wrap came unstuck. I've used many tapes, some stick well and others don't. I've tried being super careful to not touch the last bit, but that makes finger wrapping tedious, and only works marginally better. A bit more stick would make it much better.

I've been doing bjj for almost 2 years now and I can't live without tapes. I train 6 days a week. I've used muller tapes for bjj and this is way more superior than muller in many ways. First, it doesn't leave the nasty residue like muller. It stays longer and stronger than muller. Also you don't have to rip it into small pieces since it's already cut out for you. If you do bjj or grappling this is the tape to go for.

Dont bother. This tape does't even last one roll. If you're sweaty forget it.. it won't stay. Its hard to tare but easy to remove I guess.

Holds about as good as any medical / athletic tape without the tearing or cutting required for fingers.

Great product. Holds up very well during rolling. One day when I was at the airport I saw a 747 sitting there on the runway. I wrapped my fingers with tape and went out there telling the guys with the wands "I got this." Well, the plane didn't budge. Still great tape though!
