how deep is the door portion overall? Concerned about having wide enough space to open to an adequate degree.

It's 3 inches deep. Ours is 5 inches from the wall giving more than enough space. This pantry has really helped with storage in our kitchen.

what size are the shelves inside?

The dimensions of our pantry shelves are L21.3 inches * D12.2 inches

What is the size of the drawers?

Hello, thanks for your contact, the size of the drawers in Gizoon kitchen pantry cabinet is 23.7"L x 15.7"W x 3.2"H.

The unit only comes in white, would like to paint gray to match kitchen. Can unit be painted?

You’d have to sand it down to make the new paint stick but I don’t see why not.
