They can be dimmed, they can alternate colors independently, they paired seamlessly with smart assistant. I really like how bright they are and I can see myself ordering more to get more uplighting in different areas. They colors are VERY vivid and bright.

These lights are heavy duty, fun to use, and add great flair to the outside of our house. I’m excited to program them on some daily routines through Alexa to add more light to our porch in the evening and we’re excited to theme them for the holidays to add to our decor. My toddler liked playing with them changing colors on the included remote.Things to be aware of--To set up to wifi you have to have a dedicated 2.4ghz network. If you’re a Google mesh user like us you have a combined 5ghz/2.4ghz signal and the only way I’ve found around this is to set up a guest network through the Google Home app which forces your phone to 2.4 so you can set these up. Sadly happens with a lot of smart devices and is a hassle if you aren’t prepared.-I had issues the first 2 times I tried to connect the lights to the app. Suddenly on the third try it worked (nothing changed). Happened when my husband tried as well.-includes screws, stakes, and a level base so you can mount them, put them in dirt, or like us put them flat on a level surface. This versatility was appreciated!-These are WIRED both to the outlet and between the two lights so keep that in mind when planning where they’ll go. I would love to have more on each post of my porch but I don’t have anywhere else to hide more wires.-Seems like you can’t program each light to be a separate color- in the preprogrammed options the lights flash and change to different colors, but it doesn’t seem like there’s any way to make one light red and one green for instance at Christmastime. That’s the only downside I found so far!

The media could not be loaded. Update:After about 10 months of use the green color has failed which means any other colors that mix with green also do not appear correctly. The strange thing is that green went out on both lights at the same time. This tells me that it is probably the controller telling green to come on. I unplugged them for a while hoping that would do the trick and still didn't work. I can still use them for some other colors.Original Review:Very versatile RGB spotlights. These lights are daisy chained together with one plug. There is an on/off switch next to the plug. In order to change the color and mode you must use the included remote or the Smart Life app. Plugged these in and added them to the app in less than a minute. The process was super simple. The remote has plenty of functionality even with several preset color choices.These are plenty bright. The lens are frosted so I can't really see the individual lighting elements but it looks like there are several of them and maybe even some for redundancy. So I am hoping that even if a couple go bad the light will still function. The stakes and the light housing appear to be powder coated so it should withstand most harsh environmental conditions.I like the remote and all of the different functions in the app. The app allows you to do a few more things you can't do with the remote. Both lights do have to be the same color but that is not an issue for my installation. I also tested to see what they would do if they lost power. When power is restored they returned to their previous state. So you could use a dusk to dawn or some other electrical time to power these off and on if you did not want to use the app or the remote.

APPECK Smart Landscape Lighting, I haven't learned all the possibilities in setting these lights, but they appear to be unlimited. We've set them up in the back garden because it's very dark out there and the light is perfect for walking the dog. It feels a lot safer to have the yard well-lit. The lights are very substantial and well-made. The remote is an added convenience, making it easy to change settings without having to actually go into the garden. It's going to take some time to familiarize myself with so many choices in the settings. But it will be a learning experience.

I was shipped a box that had clearly been returned by someone else. Half the parts were installed on the light and half were in protective bags. I plugged the lights in and used the remote to go through the functions. Half of the functions didn't work. One light wouldn't stop flickering.No need to go any further, promptly returned.These lights are large. About 3-4 inches in diameter. That could be a plus or a minus.

Update: These worked great for a few weeks. Upon trying to set up a color change mode, sometimes when it changes to a color, it starts flashing random colors along with it. I thought perhaps this is just the Smartlife App not working correctly with the lights, so I downloaded the Appeck app that is listed in the listing for the lights. Unfortunately, I was unable to get this app working. I could set it up and log in, but as soon as I tried to connect the lights to the app, it would simply crash -- over and over again. Thinking it might be a permission error, I checked the permissions on my Pixel 7 Pro, and gave it all the permissions it had listed. This however was not a successful solution to the problem. As such, these lights will probably just end up in my junk pile as yet another device on Amazon that doesn't quite work right.Original Review: These smart lights are a really nice pair of smart flood lights. The colors that they can put out are beautiful, and the presets in the SmartLife app are a lot of fun to play around with. Setup was super easy, and the connection to the wifi has been solid, even though they are outside of the house. Overall, I'm very happy with these lights.
