The plastic is very durable, surviving multiple hits from the bass, lingcod and bonito. All very toothy fish. Great Lure! I caught Lingcod, Pacific Hañibut, and a wide variety of bottom fish. Very durable. Easy to fish. I just dropped it to bottom and cranked up a few times and pumped it up and lowered it back down. It got bit! A lot!
