I've been wanting a set of hifi speakers for some time now. For the longest time I could only afford hifi headphones, but finally pulled the plug on some speakers after getting an annual bonus. This has surpassed any and all expectations. Paired to an entry-level Denon Integrated Amp, I still feel like I am missing the full potential of what these things can really be. I can't decipher what I am hearing like other Audiophiles can, but it's like the first time you've ever seen 4K TV, upgrading from VHS on a tube tv.

The sound is crisp and clear, but by no means are as nice as the Magnepans I had prior to these. There just no comparison to the wall of sound the Maggies produce.
