Disgusting
I ordered this item and it arrived the next day. It was returned the following day. I could hardly believe my eyes. The is casing is - what casing? There was none. No cover for moving parts. No cover for wires for that matter. I didn't notice in the photograph before ordering, I should have ignored the positive reviews and made up my own mind. I just assumed it wouldn't have wires just sticking out of the motor. But, on closer look, yes, there they are. If they turned the item over when it was photographed, another could be see on the other side. In the products defence, it does take electricity through a transformer. So what! Absolute rubbish at any price. I would not buy this at any price.

A good unit that delivers great results
Positives - the machine is nicely weighted, the speed dial is away from operational hands (no bumping and changing the speed.Super easy to load with single, double, or even triple strands of yarn.The arm rods are adjustable for giving short upto super long tuft results.There isn't much noise given off from the machine when active, you certainly won't notice when listing to your favorite podcasts.Negatives - the manual doesn't say how to oil the machine, but a quick Bing search showed me how.Such a great piece of kit at an even better price.Another thing to note, no manufacturers warn you about how quickly you get through yarn. Machines like this, plus the skill of the operator, can easily get through 500m of yarn in a few hours, something I didn't account for, but if you have a good supply with you, you'll be happily tufting all day.

Power cutting out after 2 months use
Bought on 1st October, was working fine (& used a several times) but now, on the 29th November, machine power cuts out without warning. Unable to return or exchange because Amazon say it is beyond 30 day window 🤷🏻♀️
