⭐☆☆☆☆This thing is junk. Back in my day, lava lamps were built like Cold War relics — solid enough to light a room and settle a bar fight. This one? It’s made out of some flimsy plastic that feels better suited for holding toothbrushes than cosmic goo.The bottle at least pretends to honor tradition: real glass, old-school Coke bottle vibes, even a metal cap. That gave me hope. I was ready for the groovy glow. I even read the instructions (which felt ridiculous — it’s a lava lamp, not a NASA launch sequence).Plugged it in, leaned back, waited for the magic, and then… POP! A flash of light, the sound of my dreams shattering, and nothing. No hypnotic lava blobs. No retro vibes. Just a useless nightlight carcass sitting on my desk, mocking me.It promised Woodstock. It delivered RadioShack clearance bin.Would not trust in a blackout.

Fantastic! Lamp arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Liquid was clear and lava motion is outstanding right from the first cycle. The color contrast between the lava and the liquid is excellent - the lava is very bright against the darker liquid.The cap and base are also really nice - cool texture with the grooved surface.Great lamp that is working very, very well. Very happy!

Overall, the lamp works as advertised — no issues with functionality. The wax flows nicely, and the heating element seems reliable. However, I have a few Chinese lava lamps at home that are noticeably better in a few ways, despite being cheaper.First, they come with built-in dimmers, which allow you to control the brightness and the behavior of the wax — a feature I really miss here. Second, the body of those lamps feels sturdier and more aesthetically pleasing. This one has a very thin, soft aluminum casing that feels a bit flimsy by comparison.Maybe the wax formula here is superior or longer-lasting — time will tell — but at this price point, I expected more. Not a bad product, just not better than cheaper options.

I was a broadcast radio DJ for 44 years, so the Vinyl Record motif base for this neat Yellow lamp is awesome!The clear liquid was quite cloudy when first used, but now after three uses it seems to be a bit less cloudy, so I hope it becomes less cloudy over time, but it's still really nice with the Yellow Lava.

This is a good lava lamp. The price is adorable and its a good color. It works well as long as you have the right bulb.
