It's actually one of the best brands of PSU's but my order was taken by a porch pirate
I rated this Apevia PSU a five star even that I didn't get it because it was taken by a porch pirate but I must say that I have used the same brand in the past and these PSU's from Apevia are really good and of very good quality as well, I see a lot of negative comments but even the top brands of PSU's ain't perfec neither. I have been using the Apevia brand and when the hardware is fully functional you will have a long lasting quality hardware in your system, a lot of people don't know how to connect properly with other hardware or something incompatible that forces the other parts of your system to work but not at their full capacity .. These Apevia PSU's are phenomenal, I still have one in my bedroom computer and still working like a charm...

Nice power supply
Nice, quiet, easy RGB color change, good power source, easy install, easy cable management being modular. I purchased 2 of these for multiple pc builds.

Overall Good but proceed with caution.
--UPDATED REVIEW-- I didn't want to mislead people so after troubleshooting I realized that my screen flickering issues were a result of 1 faulting DVI cable. It's crazy how 1 cable from a reputable manufacturer can mess up your system. Either way, with having that issue resolved I really do like this PSU. It does exactly what a PSU is supposed to do. The non-modular 24-pin connector is actually a relief. Your system is going to use it anyway so it's nice that is sturdy and built in. Although I have an all-white build, my case covers the PSU so the color is irrelevant. For a budget build which was top of the line around 5 yrs ago, I'd highly recommend this PSU. It's quiet and it works. What else do you need? See my original review below. I still don't know why on day 1 playing Halo infinite my PC shut down. I do not think that would be the result of a faulty cable. I'm advising to proceed with caution because I think some more testing is warranted. --ORIGINAL REVIEW-- I'm running a 3080 TI and 2 monitors. Other than that, I just have 5 120mm fans. There is no reason why this PSU should not be able to handle that load. All signs point to the PS being either faulty or not producing enough power. Here is what happened: 1. Played Halo Infinite at Max settings and the screen went completely black. Everything stopped running, but my RGB from my RAM was still on. The only thing that solved this was to kill the power by pressing the main power button at the back of the PSU 2. When using 2 monitors both screens flicker. They'll stay on for about 1 second, and then off, and then on again for 1 second and then off again. Look up videos on YT and you'll see that these are 2 solid indications of a shoddy PSU. Running 1 monitor and the PSU is flawless. It's quiet and you cannot tell that there are any issues. I have not had either of these issues with different computers that I have used. The only bummer is going to be having to take the time to install a new unit, however it is needed. There is no way I can run 2 monitors with this PSU. Sad because I liked the RGB and the price was affordable. I cannot recommend this unit as it just didn't do what it was supposed to.

Suddenly stopped working!! BEWARE
Bought January 23, 2023. This review was written on October 19, 2024, the same day my computer suddenly black-screened and refused to turn back on. That means that after less than two years of normal usage on my desktop computer, this 650w power supply fully broke on me and my 450w hungry computer. Breaking in 2 years is an absolutely abysmal performance and extremely dangerous as well for your computer. Thankfully, I was in a great spot--I am a college student so I had a laptop for backup and this PC was only for heavy duty photo editing and engineering programs. Also, by some miracle, none of my files (or god forbid the OS) were corrupted by the sudden loss of power. This also happened to be on the weekend, so I was able to quickly grab another power supply at Best Buy and replace it within 6 hours of it initially breaking. That's not always the case though, and if your PC is absolutely critical or if you're unlucky and something gets corrupted, congrats, a $60 power supply will ruin your entire year.

Good psu
I don't really know what to say about this. It provides power to my pc and does it with no issues. It's nothing mind blowing, but if you're looking to have your mind blown by a PSU, you're probably wasting way too much money on flashy things for your pc.

I just upgraded my new desktop and chose this unit to run my computer, currently I’m running a Ryzen 7 5800G processor, MSI B450M Pro VDH MAX motherboard, a MSI Geforce RTX 3080 GPU and 32B of RAM and this unit runs nice and smooth, the only complain is that the RGB can be only control by a switch at the back of the unit, but performace wise this unit is really good, highly recommended
