Could not find instructions on use without opening package

Scar wax was too oily and did not stick to the skin at all, and was not the same color as advertised. Both fake blood items were not great, the tub was chunky like jello, and the spray blood could be accomplished with red food coloring and water in a spray bottle. The scar water did not work.

Let's look at the good first. This product is affordable and gives a pretty decent look for special effects makeup. It's easier to use than the professional stage makeup would be. The scar water is simply brush on and let dry (I will mix a bit of pigment into mine on the side before applying it but that's just me). The blood splatter is also easy to use, can't get much more simple than a spray bottle. Now the bad, and this is what bumped it from 4 stars to 3 for me, packaging. The blood splatter leaked in transit. This is a packaging problem on the manufacturer end and not a shipping problem in my opinion. It got all over the entire package and so not only did I get it all over my hands when I opened the package, I lost some of the product. In addition to this, the scar water is supposed to have a brush attached to the cap. You can see in my picture that the brush had fallen off the cap, I was able to get it out of the bottle, but again this is a packaging and quality control problem. As for the quality of the makeup, I'd put it maybe somewhere between your local dollar store and hour favorite Halloween supply store. Not professional, but not bad. Will work in a pinch, especially if you don't have much experience with stage makeup.

GREAT kit! Fun for beginners or advanced makeup users. Great for Halloween, zombie walks, Costumes, and more. Very versatile, and fun to play with. We will be using it for our annual Zombie walk! Loved that so much is included!

The product was good but…The blood is flowed out and missing the stick.

My niece and I had a lot of fun with this kit! We both made some made some hand wounds and incorporated chicken bones into our props. There are no instructions but we figured it out. Few comments - the vampire blood might've leaked in the box a little as the inside of the box was stained and the jar of blood was dry. We just added a small amount of warm water and it was OK. In fact, it works well as congealed blood. The scar gel was so-so as it took a while to dry, was sticky, and didn't really created a scar. However, it worked well as an adhesive for our chicken bones! The scar wax (skin putty) was great and really worked to create the effect we were going for. We finished with the spray blood and that helped make everything even more realistic.
