PEARL IZUMI Men's Quest AmFIB Cycling Jacket

This is a great jacket for everday life or riding a bike. We bought this to replace an older one.

I researched so many cycling jackets for my husband and found this one on sale via amazon. It was perfect to wear when he cycles in cold weather and keep him warm. It’s easy to wash and I air dry the jacket to prevent from damages. He also recommended this jacket to his cycling buddy so his friend bought one too. 5'8 175, medium fits well. It's a great jacket, it does have a solid layer of fleece type material on the inside and it's a little thicker than what I was hoping for. It's a great jacket for probably 45F or below, anything above that and I overheat in this really fast. Great jacket, just know it's for relatively cold weather.

I suspect the sizing runs slightly small. I fall between a medium and a large, I ordered a large and it fit perfectly. I’ve used Pearl Izumi cycling clothing in the past and been very satisfied, this jacket was no exception. So far I’ve only used it once. The temperature was in the high 50s F, with just a t-shirt underneath I was very comfortable. The zippered back pocket was perfect for holding my wallet and some cash. The materials and construction appear to be very good. Nothing really to complain about.

This is a great winter cycling jacket since it provides room for multiple layers to be worn underneath such as cycling and thermal jerseys depending on the temperature. I have found it to effective between -5 to -15 degrees Celsius when worn with a full length bib tights and winter gloves. It has more than adequate wind resistance for gusty days. I would recommend this jacket for avid cyclists who want to extend their riding into the fall and spring months.
