We really like this TV stand we bought in black. It was very well packed with no scratches. No instructions in box but got them emailed to me by selling company next day. It is very sturdy and looks exactly like pictured. My husband got it together with no problem. It has 8 - 9 pages of instructions and he was able to follow right along and do it. There are lots of screws, etc. If you have never assembled a piece of furniture with different size screws, etc. I would not recommend this as a beginner project. Otherwise, go for it and you will like it very much.Attrac

Love this media center! Put it together by myself in about 3 hours. Directions were right on and even though the box was damaged and I could see damage to wooden material inside, I opened it to find it was only the packing material that was damaged. Packed extremely well for such a heavy piece. Sturdy and perfect fit for our 40 in. tv. Tall enough so that the toddler grandchildren cannot reach the tv. Plenty of room for all of our DVD's. Would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind the fake wood look.

This item while having many pieces went together easy and looks great, providing plenty of room and storage. You do have to be careful assembling it as some of the wood pegs when glued in and starting to dry may be enough to crack the particle board and the cheap laminate will split, nothing a hammer and some black marker couldn't cover, although if I do it again I would save the glue on the dowels until the pieces go together. also the overall depth is 16" but the shelf space is only 14" or so and my 5 disc DVD player hangs out an inch and a half. My only real gripe is the first stand I recieved had a hole through the box and the top board where the TV sits, which I only found out after taking all the other 50 or so pieces out of the box. while most retailers would file a claim with UPS and have a new top piece set to me so I could assemble it and use it with the top piece loose for a few days until I got a new one, Amazon in all there wisdom wanted all 50+ pieces put back in the box and sent back to them, leaving me for several days without a TV stand I had already waited a week for. They did sent out a replacement next day air, but I had to wait the weekend and into tuesday for it. I would have gladly sent back the top broken piece alone when I got a new one, and I was tempted to assemble the whole thing and use it until the replacement came and send it back assembled sans the box. In summary great stand for the money, but amazon could use some work with their returns process.

Really nice TV stand. It does take a long time to put together and there are some diagram mistakes. Step 3 is way off...don't drill any new holes on the doors --- just go with the predrilled holes. Some of our small DVD shelves had a 20 sticker when they were actually 29. But you can figure that out. The biggest thing to watch out for is putting the two front magnetic door holders on. That is where the instructions show them differently than the predrilled holes. Like I said, go with the predrilled holes. This is definitely worth the assembly time. I did it by myself over a couple of days after work. My wife absolutely loves it! P.s. -- I will say, the screws to put the bottom of the stand on are a real pain. They give you this little wrench and it stripped out on me (both sides both sides of the wrench). I was not able to get three of the 9 or so screws flush. Not a problem and you folks are the only ones that will know as you can't see them!

I love this. It actually looks perfect in my living room. Perfect height as well. It took me about 4&1/2 hours total over two nights. It's very tedious to put all the screws and dowels in but well worth it given the price I got it at which was about $146.00 with free shipping. I was grateful to have a friend helping me as well. It's rather easy to follow the directions and comes out perfect if you do that. I highly recommend. It's not a solid wood piece but still very nice and feels sturdy.

This is super easy to put together. I did it by myself (short, out of shape female with a back injury), and had no problems. There were a few small scratches on the veneer, but since the item is black, I was able to use a black permanent marker to hide them. Some small dents in the tops of doors were covered up with the stickers provided in the package to cover the metal joiners. All in all, my boyfriend and I absolutely love this. It looks nice, and has a good amount of storage. 10/10 would recommend.

I absolutely love this tv stand! You have to be patient to put it together, as it is one of the more difficult pieces that I have done. Just follow the directions page by page. This is a beautiful stand and it has a ton of storage. I looked quite a bit before purchasing and am so glad that I bought this one! Heavy duty, gorgeous, and functional, all at a great price! UPDATE! Although I first have this a 5* review I have since changed my mind, as it has 1 major design flaw. The apron at the bottom of the piece breaks off the instant you try and move it. I finally just removed it causing the stand to sit shorter. I am going to totally step back from buying anymore out it together yourself pieces. Totally disappointed.

Let me start by saying that the finished product is a nice piece of furniture; attractive and sturdy. Getting to the finished product was another story and would not have been possible the way it was sent. There were 36 separate wood pieces as well as a large amount of hardware. Each piece was conveniently labeled with a number and the hardware was well separated and marked. At one point in the instructions some of the pieces were miss-labeled so it took a little detective work to see what was actually meant. One of the main pieces had 6 holes drilled on the wrong side of the piece so I had to drill my own holes on the correct side. The bottom piece was missing 4 critical holes which I had to measure, drill and counter set on my own. Unless you have a little experience and some basic tools I do not recommend attempting to assemble this product.

Assembled in about 2 hours. Finished product looks nice. The drawer glides smoothly. The doors open and close smoothly and the hinges they provide will surely be strong enough to prevent future sagging. Had extra hardware. (which is way better than not getting enough) It would be nice if they provided more glue for the wooden pins.( We had to use our own glue when we ran out, but we had some so didn't need to run out to the store in the middle of the installation to get some.) So far, it seems to be better quality than most 'furniture in a box'. Satisfied with the finished product.

This cabinet is so beautiful, however you will find many, many, many, pieces to put together. It took my husband over 4 hours to get it right. Once built, it's wonderful.

Arrived on time in excellent condition. It's a big heavy package. Needs care and space getting the numbered pieces out of the package and organized for assembly. Need some space for assembly. I used the opened cardboard box as a platform for the assembly to prevent scratching the floor. Need to carefully read / look at the mostly pictorial assembly instructions as it's being assembled. A couple of pictorials from one step to the next have small inconsistencies, but nothing serious.
