Ocean wave projector

Unfortunately I bought it on Jan 20, and it stopped working on Feb 28, eight days past the return time. Edit: the company is kind enough to send me a new one! It really is a cool machine. I don’t like to sleep in total darkness, and this provides the right kind of light to see by but not to keep me awake. I’m excited.

This is so adorable. I was redoing a room in mermaid theme and it makes the room Seem like it’s “under water”. It comes with a remote for ease of turning it on and off, the color is vibrant and soothing! Only down fall is, the melody that it plays isn’t long but loops fairly often

I have been getting into the ritual of taking baths several times a week for self-care. I wanted a light to allow me to relax and daydream while I soaked. I bought this light because it mentioned it was waterproof, 7 light options, and adjustable angles. The light options are disappointing. It didn't have 7 options at all, and the transitions between the colors are abrupt. One of the settings was just flashing on and off. How is that a lighting option? The sequence of the lights was so short that I counted to 6 before the loop started again. There would be a blip/flash every transition and the motor would click constantly as well. It was very distracting when you are trying to meditate or relax. The pattern was odd, too, because I could see faces and skulls. It looked like the scene in Beetlejuice when they opened the blind to see the lost souls floating or some bad Halloween projection from Home Depot. I couldn't relax while using the product. I tried several settings, but it was just not a good fit for me. You couldn't really turn the music off. You only could lower the volume to the point it was just quiet enough to barely hear it. Also, I hated the length of the power cord. I used a portable battery for the device to get it close to the tub. I felt like I was breaking it by adjusting the angle of the projection. I really wanted to like it, and after the fourth use, I thought I might keep it, but I realized it killed the vibe and purpose of the bath. If you are planning to use it as a night light or something, then I do think it would be a good choice, but I wouldn't recommend it for meditation and relaxation.

My boys love this light and the sounds! The ocean sound is their favorite and they take turns picking the color of the light each night. The remote control is very convenient to have and makes selecting sounds and color, and adjusting the volume so easy! Recently when our machine broke, I sent a message to the seller asking if there was a warranty at all. We bought ours 6-7 months ago and it just stopped working (I think it was the cord or where the cord plugs in that was having issues). They asked about the issue so they could tell the manufacturer and offered to send a replacement. We received the new one within two days and my boys were so excited. I am very pleased with the product and customer service.

UPDATE 2: just a couple weeks after it stopped responding to the remote, we lost power and now it won’t come on even if I try to use the switch on the bottom. It’s just dead. 😞 UPDATE: I loved this light so much, but the other day (barely 3 months after I got it, and OF COURSE well after the return window has closed) it suddenly stopped responding to its remote. I changed the batteries in the remote to be sure that wasn’t it, but even with brand new batteries, it just won’t respond to the remote. Those “buttons” on the front aren’t buttons at all. Nothing happens when I touch them. So, now I can’t shut it off. If I do and then subsequently turn it back on I’ll be stuck with it playing music and all 3 colors at once because I cannot do ANYTHING to it with the remote. The only way I like to use this is with the music off, and the blue light on only. I’ve left it on since I realized that because I really like it. But, next time I lose power or the cord is jostled and it goes off- game over. Original review: I am addicted to this light. I got it for my Mermaid themed birthday party to simulate being underwater and holy hecc does this do that! There's 3 different colors and about 5-6 different combinations of the colors but I prefer just the blue. It simulates being underwater so well that I have it in my room and I use it at night! I fall asleep listening to ocean waves (on a separate sound machine, though this does come with music on it and a blank SD card to add your own music/sounds) and looking up at my ceiling, sparkling like the water's surface, while I lay beneath the waves like a real mermaid! And yes, I'm a grown adult, lol. So if this tickles me as much as it does, kids will go gaga for this light.

Worked as described twice then turns on with lights , but the motorized movement has ceased to function . Cheap, fragile & inconsistent product . Update: seller reached out and offered a prompt replacement. This one has been working fine thus far . No complaints .

Bought this for my daughters mermaid room. Its perfect and she loves it. She has a decent size room, 12ft by 11ft. It do not cover all her ceiling but it do cover above her bed and she don't seem to care. Lots of color options. She really just sticks to the main one. Sound is good but she don't use it. The remote could be a little better quality. The 4hr timer button wore out quickly and you have to press VERY hard now to get it to work. Had this for under 6mths so a little disappointed in that but otherwise, if the child is happy then I am happy.

Although I love the light projection, I operate it with the sound off....I do like the nature sounds and rolling surf you get with some of these kind of products, but the recordings used for this particular machine are not at all pleasant sounding - I would have preferred even just a a very light music instead - so i use it with sound off and my own music. My only other issue with it is the remote control -- I have it near a remote control electric fireplace and the two of them unfortunately operate with same signal - because when i turn the wave projector on, it also turns on my fireplace - and when i try to adjust the colors - it shuts my fireplace back off and on again with every click.

This is such a cool projector. There are a bunch of different colors and combinations to choose from, and the remote is great to change the settings without having to get up. The first projector I received made some noise while operating, but the customer service was amazing and helped to fix the problem. The light works super quietly now! Would definitely recommend.

Remote wouldn't work.. lights were decent but poor sound quality and the whole thing was just cheaply made. Sent it back right away for a refund. Maybe I just got a bad one. But I won't be buying another one.

I ordered one, it didn't work. They sent a replacement, it didn't work. Lovely idea but, seems to be a bit of a piece of junk. Won't be trying this again. Funny thing... one the cover of the manual it actually says 'Patented Product Counterfeiting". Well now... at least they are honest about but uh... not sure this is a company that I want to support....
