We choose to source soursop from the Caribbean island of St Lucia or Sri Lanka. These countries produce high quality soursop with a delicious sweeter flavour and a smaller amount of fibre compared to fruits of other origin. Soursop must be kept at room temperature or warmer to ripen. Once the fruit is ripe (soft all over), you must then store in the refrigerator for around 5-7 days; alternatively you can eat once ripe. We recieve fresh shipments of Soursop Mondays & Tuesdays. Also known as: Graviola, guanabana, guyabano, sirsak, durian belanda, bullock's heart, prickly custard apple, and soursap. Preparation Usually, after 1-4 days, the soursop will be soft to very soft. This indicates the fruit is ripe and ready to eat. The skin may brown during ripening.
