Easy to install, sturdy and really helped
We were skeptical at first but this item works great. It’s easy to install and fit two different bikes. It really helped the kids learn to balance and made teaching them a thousand times easier

Great tool to teach riding a bike!
This is perfect to help your child learn how to ride a bike without being intrusive. Being behind the bike makes my child feel more independent. This works well and is stable enough to help hold the bike up.

Wobbly, required frequent retightening
The handle comes in 2 parts which need to be joined by a pair of screws. Unfortunately after barely a couple weeks of usage, the screws started to get loose due to which the handle wobbles. The screws need to be tightened every couple days or so after that, and the metal is too soft that the heads start to get stripped. Overall would not recommend due to this reason.

worked as I intended it too.
it fit well on our little three wheeler. the handles on it were to short. this helped with our walks and our backs!

Would not fit.
It will not fit on the radio flyer red trike, if it is the collapsible type. Seems well built, but check the model if see if a handle can be added.

Doesn't fit small bikes
Make sure you have a long seat post or choose a handle with different geometry.I bought this for a balance bike and it can't fit between the seat and rear triangle. The description says it needs only 1" of clearance, but it really needs more than 5.5" (see photo). The seat post on this bike isn't even long enough for it to ever fit.By the time my kid has a bike big enough to fit this handle, they won't need me to hold on anyway :)
