Nice product. Small and compact
Easy to use, small and compact for on the go. If you like a small drawing tablet, this is good. It's way easier to use than my other 10 moons. Sketch crawler, unfortunately, does not recognize the tablet. But krita does, and I can easily import my drawings. Moreover, it appears that the drawing surface in sketch crawler will take the tablet's input even if the buttons don't work. I haven't used my old laptop in ages, but when I do, I'll be able to use this with it, which means I might be able to draw on the go. Honestly, the fact that I can't use it in sketch crawler is freeing; I've been feeling confined to that game, now I can draw in krita and simply draw something without feeling like I have to be in sketch crawler to enjoy art.

Works Great!!!
Easy to use, and set up! Excellent option if you're on a budget if you can afford tablets with displays!

it sure is one of the tablets i've ever used
ignore how greasy my tablet looks omg i think it's just really easy to get dirty but the all black pen is the one that comes with this tablet, but the silver/black one is my deco pro pen. okay so!!!! i'm an xp pen user til the day i die hehe i'm so loyal. i used to use the deco pro mw and small, but then the ports cracked in both of them which made them basically unusable. then in the middle of my sleep deprived delirium, i decided that i'd get a baby xp pen tablet as a temporary replacement. i hopped on amazon, found the star g640, and bought it on a whim. it arrived on the same day bc i'm a ✨ prime user ✨ so i started using it immediately after i woke up. it's very small, and i have it connected to my laptop. it's okay if you wanna draw in bed, but if you're at a table, the tablet's corners are a bit sharp (?) so it might scratch your forearm rubbing against it. it's also extremely light so if you have it laying on your body then it won't put a lot of pressure yay. also the tablet doesn't have buttons at all unlike deco pro, but the pen does have the typical left/right click buttons. speaking of the pen... here is the make or break: the pen is REALLY uncomfortable?? maybe it's bc i've grown so used to the rubber on the deco pro pens, but this pen really reminds me of the wacom intuos pen but significantly cheaper (which i guess is what you'd imagine for a $40 drawing tablet but that doesn't mean i can't be disappointed LOL). and for some reason, the strokes feel slower and less precise? maybe that's my own skill issue but it seriously felt super wrong and i was beginning to get kinda exhausted from drawing. i was contemplating returning the tablet altogether and rushing to get another deco pro, but then i had the idea to try and use my deco pro pen on it and IT WORKED????? 💃💃 so now it actually doesn't physically hurt me to use!!!!!! which is good bc i REALLY didn't wanna get another tablet LMFAOOOO. if it weren't for the pen compatibility, i would honestly have given this either three or even two stars, but i'd say it bumped it back up to a four. which technically is not this product by itself, i just got really lucky i've already used xp pen, and i appreciate the fact that you can cross over the pens between different xp tablets, so it can have the extra star <3 tl;dr the tablet is okay, the work space is small but reasonably so. if you aren't a beginner then you'll recognize how awful this pen feels to hold. if you're buying from xp pen then just get a deco pro i'm so serious 😭😭 but this tablet really is as much as it's worth and i'd definitely recommend it for BEGINNER artists, especially kids.

They work well
Just what I needed. Compact and powerful.. Nicest drawing tablet I have owned since my Wacom Intuis 5. Best part is it is truly plug and play.

Get a Protector!!!!!!!!
This this is pretty dang good for the cost!! However I do have some issues: It is very easy to scratch the surface of the tablet accidentally and mine has developed this weird sensitivity issue where sometimes the cursor for the pen jumps dramatically far for minute movements. This is an issue since I have been using this tablet to do digital art. I've solved the issue of scratching the tablet surface by putting the entire thing into one of those sleeve protectors you use for binders. Otherwise, the sensitivity is fantastic, I love how it requires no batteries, and the amount of replacement nibs is quite generous (...considering the cost of buying more of them independent of the tablet!)

Great tablet for osu! Maybe drawing in a pinch.
I mostly used it to play osu! during COVID. I wasn't ever highly skilled at the game, but it did work out well. I even made a few beatmaps that got shoved into the graveyard because I never touched them again. I haven't used it for any other purpose beyond playing osu!, however I did dabble with using Adobe Photoshop and Paint.Net for a bit and it was kinda fun to use the drawing tablet for that, but it did feel weird. I was mostly using it to game on, it was small and cramped, and I have big hands, but weirdly enough it worked out better in my favor. I had two monitors plugged in so I had an even smaller active area compared to if I was on a single monitor, and I was more comfortable oddly enough... I recommend this for gaming (in particular, one specific game), but for drawing? I can't really say.

Don’t install the drivers if you’ve got Win10 and Trackpad
Update- given the complete hassle of the drivers of this tablet and having them lock up my trackpad, I’m changing feedback to 2. I’ve deleted the drivers, removed the software, done a file rollback, and still my trackpad is messed up. Why on Earth they would lock up a built in trackpad when the trackpad had an on off switch to it? It’s just lazy coding. Now I’ve got to figure out which registry key it changed and try to reverse the change. Even at the price of this tablet on sale, it’s not worth it, especially if you’ve got a PS/2 mouse built in because it will lock it up to where even when you access it, it will continue to act erratic. Now anytime my palm or sleeve brushes the trackpad below my keyboard while I’m trying, it jumps the cursor to who knows where with the slightest bump! So you ask, can’t you just unplug the tablet? Yes you certainly can, but you’d better have a spare mouse to plug in or you’re going to be doing everything via keystrokes and that’s something I’ve ever done due to necessity and of course you can no longer use your trackpad because they’re sorry software locks it up with absolutely no way to turn it back on 😡 I probably should have known better than to install the Chinese drivers on the website but alas, I was backwards thinking. That backwards thinking cost me so far, about 2 hours trying to undue that mistake + the time it took me to research and discover, at least at this point, that if you are using this on a laptop with built in trackpad, the driver software disables your mouse and as of yet, even with a file rollback, my trackpad is still DOA. It’s an older Dell so I think the only option left is to uninstall the trackpad drivers and then hope the pc recognizes the trackpad on reboot and reinstalls. That is, if the drivers can be found due to them changing to Microsoft drivers when I updated to Windows 10. It was already a poor setup to begin with, I just hope uninstalling doesn’t make it worse. As for the pad itself, it has a learning curve as I’m used to a tablet that had the battery powered pen so it had a LOT faster response and it wasn’t so “jumpy”. This pad tends to hang me up as I got it for graphics and the delay necessary to get the tablet to kick in, is also, ironically the amount of delay necessary to signal for a right click so another menu is constantly popping up. I don’t think that will be an issue ultimately as I’m used to using the key on the barrel. So I can remove the key press related to touch/delay. The pen is a decent weight as well as relatively sturdy, it would be nice to have a gel surface like many others do but at the price it’s fine. If you’re used to a larger pad the small size may be an issue with you, but I’m used to it so it’s ok. It’s hard to believe they’re still using micro usb connection as that’s the second least reliable, but at the price it was on sale, if it works a year I’ll be good, but updating the plug on the board would definitely be something worth doing if they wanted longevity. If you’re the type to get stuck on something b/c you hate change, I’d recommend the insurance on this one as micro Usb has a HIGH failure rate.
