West Design 5mm A1 Foam Board - White (Pack of 10)

The package arrived and was clearly sturdy enough to withstand transit. The foamboard itself was required for a project where I would usually have preferred to use a form of wooden sheet, e.g. thin plywood. However, it was a pleasure to work with and withstood jointing with either a hot glue gun, PVA adhesive or rapid bonding cyano.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product for craft and hobby purposes.

Good quality foam board. It came well packaged with extra protection on the corners to prevent damage. Cuts well for straight edges, but remember to use a fresh sharp blade. More difficult for cutting on the complicated shapes I was cutting out - it left tiny bits of the card outer layer, but that was to be expected. I painted with acrylic paints and got a good result. Good value for money.

Board is fine - the packaging left a little to be desired as a lot of the corners of the boards were crushed. So if I'd been wanting this for presentation purposes I'd have had to some trimming. However, as I wanted the board as packaging protection it suited my purposes well.

Used these to make free standing light up numbers , and a welcome sign to hang . The possibilities are endless really . Easy to cut , and wipe clean surface

Arrived well packed but each piece had squashed and crumpled corners. Only useful as packaging rather than artworks sadly.

Brought this at the request of a customer to make signs. Customer complained they fell apart after getting damp in the reception area.Wouldn’t recommend.

Good price, foamcore is great for light but incredibly sturdy display of art and photographs. Just remember to cut it with a brand new blade each time (don't try cutting it quickly or all the way through at first slice) and you will have clean edges.Nothing more horrible at presentation time than badly cut foamcore.
