Urban GoCoWomen's Vintage Velvet Mini Flared Skater Skirt

I am disappointed with the length of the skirt, the photos suggest it comes just above the knee but it's more like barely covering the bum! I'm 5'2" by the way. I chose the large size as per retailer advice as I am a size 12. The waist band hides a very wide unforgiving piece of elastic which slips about inside its seams as you put the skirt on and is quite uncomfortable. It's a very pretty skirt though and had the length been another 10 centimeters longer it would have been great. I will persevere though - I've ordered a bit of fabric and I'm going to have a go at adapting the skirt to make it longer.

It fits size wise but is way to short

Nicely made, great fit & lovely length on me... Perfect to go with a Christmas jumper for a fun festive outfit.

Comfortable and nice fabric

I sized up on the strength of the other review and shouldn't have. The waistband was very loose and the fabric very light and slippery, I seriously worried it would slip off!I don't understand where the word ' vintage' comes into the description, it's not distressed and it's not anything close to the thickness of old fashioned velvet either. I wanted a black skater skirt to fit into winter layered outfits but this one didn't have the necessary weight. I think in spring it would be better suited.Other than that it was well made, very stretchy and a sensible length for a mini... short but not like a wide belt.

It's a bit short but overall pretty good

Very pretty and fits perfectly. Before purchasing I’ve read some reviews saying that the sizes are smaller than normal, I went by the size chart provided and ordered my usual size (S) and I don’t see this at all (it does tend to be on the short side though and I’m not very tall), plus there’s no zip or anything, there’s just an elastic band around your waist so I would say it’s actually more flexible: should my waist expand a little I’ll still be able to fit in it :)

Was amazing I love the size and fit, only issue is the elastic moves freely in the waistband nothing some stitches can't fix. Great value for money
