Abundant Chef (TM) Premium 4 Piece Ceramic Cutlery Knife and Peeler Set (5" Utility, 4" Paring, 3" Fruit Knife, with One Peeler) Black Handle and White Blade

I have had these knives and peeler for a couple of months and it seems like the small and large knife are not nearly as sharp as the middle sized one. Actually, it doesn't seem it--they are duller. They don't cut any better than the metal ones I've had for years, but they don't cut any worse either. They are clean, easy to use. I've never used ceramic knives and I've not had any experience with other brands. I had the thought I must be super careful with these things because I might take my finger off. Well, no worries about that with these. Like I said, they aren't much different than my old metal ones. Perhaps in a few months I'll buy a more expensive set and see if there is a difference. For now, I'm happy enough with these. They are easy to clean; sharp enough to cut up our veggies and comfortable enough to use.

I truly enjoy using ceramic knifes. I have not use any other kind of knife in the kitchen since I bought my 1st pair form Groupon. I let my husband use his manly BBQ knifes for tough jobs like cutting thru spaghetti squash. I normally shop around to find the best package deal. I have ordered several for personal use and to gift. The ceramic quality is great, resulting in beautiful clean cuts. I have had 1 or 2 chip on me but I take blame as user error. The reason I am giving this brand a 4 is because the peeler quality is below the quality when compared to others and it does not include the protective covers.Note; the quality of the peeler is not the same as the knifes. The knifes have sturdy handles.

Why did I buy them?I was looking for a ceramic knife, but I didn't want to spend too much for it. I ended up buying this set which was an awesome deal.Do they work?Given the price, I was afraid of having to deal with cheaply made knives, but this was not the case: I tried them with vegetables, fruit and meat, and they cut everything without requiring any effort.The only two things I didn't like is that the set doesn't include a knife with a serrated blade to cut bread and that the knives don't come with a protective case for the blades, therefore you will have to store them very carefully.Pros:- Great quality for the price- They work perfectly with fruit, vegetables and meatCons:- No protective cases- No knife for breadBottom line:This is an awesome deal, given how cheap this set is. If you are a professional chef, these knives are probably not enough for you, but if you are not, you won't regret this purchase.

They are handy sizes and I guess I am glad to have them, but they aren't as sharp as my first ceramic knife, not by a long shot.

The set is a great price and is wonderful to use, however the lack of protective coverings makes me very nervous.

These were my first set of ceramic knives. Looking at the reviews, I thought they would be value for money. However, 2 of 3 knives have gone useless because blade came out of handle. I would not recommend the product.

They are very sharp, but very thick

pleasant grip, very sharp, carefully designed. Tip is rounded, which isn't an issue. I do recommend those, especially for the low price. (ceramic knifes are often pricier than Steel blades...)
