Didn't work for my phone

These worked well for the recent eclipse. I was able to get some good pictures using the zoom on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. The film wasn't completely flat, so focusing took work if a ripple shifted to the center of the lens. I used painter's tape to hold it in place. These are a great value for casual use.

I ordered this product thinking that it would give me great photos of the eclipse; especially since it was one of Amazon's "best buys/top picks". The pictures above are a representation of what was taken when using the product and for some reason it did not show a true representation of the eclipse or what I actually saw when using the lunar eclipse eyeglasses. The product was reasonablely priced and it came with five of the photo filters. It just didn't show the true eclipse! I was able to share the filters with family and neighbors and they all had the same complaint and experience; even though they have different cellphones. I would never buy this product again or recommend it to anyone. Wondering if there's a way to get my money back?

TLDR Version for the ADHDers: It's not going to be as perfect as you want it to be.That being said.... It may work perfectly under different conditions. I have an iPhone Pro Max 14 and bought this filter set to attempt to take solar eclipse pictures. I researched what to do because I really wanted to find a way to capture the eclipse and keep it forever. As you can see by my images, it was a bit tedious and there was quite a bit of error.... :)The clearest images that I was able to capture with my iPhone and this filter weren't the clearest and still required a lot of editing and adjusting. Regardless of what I did to the pictures or the focus, however, I wasn't able to get what I considered to be a good image. I'm sure that a professional could make this work, but for an amateur - it's a bit too much to make clear.

I could'nt get out for the eclipse , but I gave them to my dauughter, son-in-law and grand daughter. They said they were easy to use and worked very well. I know this info is very late but just a reminder - if you are saving your eclipse glasses for the next eclipse, wrap them and store them carefully. If they have any nicks or scraches, them away! As a reminder, you can use them to observe and photograph the sun. That can be very interesting .

Definitely worth the purchase as you can take pictures of any solar eclipse to have lasting memories! The quality of the pictures were excellent and way better than expected! Make sure you have on hand for the next Solar Eclipse!

I bought these and the glasses for our eclipse experience. The glasses worked fine. These did not. I simply couldn't get an even remotely sharp photo through this. We tried these on several different phones and all were indistinct eclipse shaped blobs of light. We ended up using the glasses instead which gave a slightly better picture but still not clear. My theory is the plastic which bends in ripples over the lense doesn't provide an even enough filter. I should have tried a glass filter for a DSLR instead of a plastic film.
