Well what can I say about the cookology electric single fan oven, I can say its brilliant for the price I paid. If you are wanting an all dancing all singing oven its not for you, but it has everything I wanted a "A" rated oven and grill, together with a timer I can use no problem. I was a bit concerned about buying a non named brand but other reviews sang its praises so I ordered it, delivery was excellent arrived two days after ordering it, and it took my husband all of I would say an hr to unpack it and have it fitted and working. It comes with only one wire shelf but order one, which again came straight away, and I have not had a reply to my query on product guarantee but overall this product and the firm who supplied it deserve 5 stars.

The oven is basic but does what I need it to and is quieter than my last one. It doesn't come with a plug which was a challenge to go out to buy one, then fit it before I could use it. A moulded plug attached would be safer as most devices come with them now. Main issue I had was delivery, lost days work waiting in on delivery day and didn't arrive without notice, no time slots given just says delivery up to 8pm. Trouble rearranging delivery, did try to cancel. Told would have 2 hours notice and turned up without notice.

Fantastic, be aware there is only one shelf though. Otherwise really pleased.

I purchased this item 14 months ago and all of a sudden it just stop working so I contacted the company and they refused a refund or replacement as the 12 months warranty was upI spoke with trading standards and in this country by law for an electrical appliance it’s five years so trading standards are still dealing with it. You don’t buy an oven for it to last 14monthsShocking company to deal with steer well clearWOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND

The oven was delivered quicker than expected, which made me feel good about the purchase.If you're looking for the cheapest oven and use it occasionally, then this could be a good option. Otherwise, I'd suggest a better oven. Unfortunately, after a few months of use, the controls don't work properly anymore - for example, the timer doesn't work, so once the oven worked for 2 hours, when I had actually set the timer for 20 minutes. This is quite dangerous, as you can imagine. Moreover, I've found that the temperature is 40 degrees off! I've found this out when baking a cake that was supposed to be in the oven for 20 minutes at 170 degrees, and it ended up taking almost twice that time. Bought a an oven thermometer to check what was going on and... you can guess, the temperature you set in the oven is far from that in the oven. Hope this review helps.
