Weight, mount/tripod: 20.9 lbs. Weight, fully assembled: 34.4 lbs. **Q: What are the dimensions of the shipping boxes?** A: I am unsure but we were not able to wrap them for Christmas as the two boxes were VERY LARGE. They both were somewhere around 4-5 feet in length. **Q: Does this package come with the solar filter?** A: No, it comes with a barlow, a shorty...no filters. The spotter is awful, but the scope is great. You might want to look into a better spotter & a moon filter 13 %, from what i understand you need two solar filters to use in the sunlight.
