I sized up in the sizing chart and it still came plenty big, but that's perfect for me - I always wear an athletic shirt under sweaters to keep my sensitive skin from freaking out, and I've also been suffering from some sensory issues with snug clothes, so I'm very happy with the fit. If you prefer a tighter fit, you could probably size down.The color I got is a very lovely burnt orange, which I find very flattering on pale folks like myself. I included a few photos to show different ways you can wear. Letting it fall, it definitely falls to mid hip or lower. If that isn't a flattering spot on you (it isn't really on me because I'm very wide hipped, so clothing stopping there is accentuating my widest part - and who wants that amirite?), it looks cute tucked in or with a French tuck (half tuck), or you can do a little roll n knot - I tied with a cloth hair band and rolled it into it in the last photo, which I find to be a stylish alternative for T-shirts and anything else boxy that falls to that unflattering spot on me. The neck is a fairly high turtle neck. I might try to stretch it out a little.I'm docking a point because the interesting yarn pattern on the sleeves, also makes it a bit of a pain and a risk of snagging on things. A few strands are already pulled out a bit and I haven't even worn this out yet. It probably says hand wash only but I'm no hand wash gal so I think as long as it goes in a garment bag it should be ok.I'll update if there's anything else if interest - it's still too hot out for sweater season, but I look forward to rocking this once it hits!

Right off the bat, the PRETTYGARDEN Women's Fall Turtleneck Sweater arrives vacuum-sealed in a heavy-duty plastic bag. The problem with this is that the sweater had a plastic odor when the bag was opened. It aired out for quite sometime before the odor wasn't noticeable.The sweater is a bit oversized. My wife doesn't mind; she likes to layer and prefers her outer layers to be a bit baggy.The material is acrylic and is supposed to be hand-washed. The way the sleeves are designed/constructed lends themselves to snagging fairly easily, even if one is careful while wearing it. Not the best choice for my wife, considering we have five dogs.

I ordered this sweater in the grey shade and it looks exactly like the listing. I'm 156 lbs, 5'6" 36 B and the medium fit exactly as expected. It's roomy without being oversized and covers my belly pouch adequately. The turtle neck fits my neck snug without being tight.Personally, I like the fringe loops on the sleeves but my boyfriend made a point of telling me he is not a fan of this sweater when I tried it on. Luckily, he's not the one wearing it! I think it's really cute on me as well as the other women that have reviewed it, which enticed me to order it for myself. I do have concerns about how the sleeves will hold up in the wash or while wearing it. Trying to fluff it up a bit out of the package caused the loops to pull, even though I was trying to be careful. You'll definitely want to wash this in a garment bag.The sweater did arrive vacuum sealed and stunk pretty bad when I first opened it, like a wet dog and laundry left in the washer too long. After a few hours on a hanger, the smell dissipated.

I was not sure what to expect from this sweater as it can be tough to tell what something will really fit like once it arrives. This sweater is a bit wrinkly from the packaging but that should come out in the wash. It is a fairly soft material, not scratchy at all. I got a medium, but I think I could have gotten a small as it is very boxy and the sleeves are even nice and long. If you look at the sleeves you can see that they are a loose knit that could easily catch on things depending on what environment you are wearing it in. it had a pull or two already in one sleeve when it came out of the bag, but that goes with anything stitched/woven like this. My main negative is that the turtleneck is so thick it almost goes over my chin and there is no way to lower it. I have a normal sized neck and usually enjoy a cozy turtleneck, but this one is overwhelming to me. I only gave it three stars because of the pulling in the sleeves, the overly boxy fit, and the too-tall neck. It is nice enough to wear to sit out in the yard on a cool fall day but it might end up in my daughter's closet since she likes oversized sweaters.

It's chunky...I don't mind the chunk, but I wish I would have ordered a medium. Since it is already so "chunky" I would have preferred it to be a little more form-fitting.(Size ordered: L)

I picked this sweater and It looks nice on and the fit is as expected, however, the neck is a little snug and the sleeves snag VERY easily. It does not hold its shape or look good after wearing it all day. It is a nice novelty sweater but it’s not one you will want to throw on every day. This is the reason for only three stars.

100% acrylic sweater. Ordered brown, package says brown, but color is closer to a burnt orange color, which is beautiful. Purchased small and is true to fit. Sweater is lightweight, soft to the touch, not itchy like real wool, and warm / cozy.

This sweater was sadly too short and boxy for me. I am 5’5”, 154 and 34G. I ordered a small. It was way too big in the stomach area and shorter than I like. Also it was somewhat thin and seemed to snag easily, especially the way the material is made on the arms. If you like short oversized sweaters this one would be for you. It just did not look good on me!
