I got these to keep in my purse as a little surprise for the kids in my life, should the right moment arise. They ended up coming out at my grandfather’s funeral, where I handed them one by one to my niece as she covered the program with shiny stars. After the service, she doled out stickers to everyone (and I mean everyone) in attendance. My grandfather’s sister had a little necklace of stars, my dad had stars aligning the collar of his suit, my grandma had stars delicately placed on her shoulders.
