I had a small, simple, usb powered 3-fan cooler that I was using which was fine. I don't know how effective it was but it was better than nothing, I suppose. I was worried about the hooks that grasp the laptop near my wrists being an issue. However, thanks to the replies of a number of other users, that is not a concern. I don't even use them as the memory foam gasket is sufficient to hold the laptop in place. This thing can move a ton of air. It can be noisy when you have it wound up, but I usually keep it at 500 rpm. You can hear it, but it's not offensively loud. It keeps the laptop cool during gaming with no concern whatsoever. It requires a DC jack which I didn't think about. It's not a concern for me, just something I did not consider. It's nice to have so many extra USB ports, even if I'm not really using them. It is thick, but the payoff is well worth the extra size. I should have bought this ages ago; it does a fantastic job. Review: The most powerful cooling solution for laptops - I have a high powered i9 13th gen gaming laptop with a 4070 GPU and I’ve been looking for a top tier cooling pad to keep it from reaching insanely high temps. This is easily the strongest one available on the market in the west at the moment. There’s another brand I’ve been eyeing for a while but they’ve been having delays bringing their equivalent model to the western market since last year. I was tired of waiting so I looked around stumbled on this one, which literally got added to desertcart 4 days before I bought it and unless you order it directly from China I don’t think you can find it anywhere else. It’s also priced about 25% less expensive than its competitor which is nice. This thing is intense. It cools my laptop anywhere from 8-25 degrees Celsius depending on what I’m doing. The RGB lights are a nice feature too. To the other reviewer, 2800RPM from a 14cm/140mm is a lot of power. The smaller the fan the harder it has to work by spinning faster to create similar wind power. This is plenty of force. Only downside is that it gets pretty loud at the higher ranges. It goes from 300RPM-2800RPM and honestly you’d probably never need to run it at full capacity. But even at 1600RPM it’s loud enough you’d want good noise canceling headphones to improve your experience. This is to be expected from such a power device. It connects by AC Adapter to a wall/surge protector, this isn’t your run of the mill USB powered cooling pad, those are useless in comparison. I guess they could’ve spent a bit more on production to improve the acoustics and have less motor noise from a better fan, but for what it’s supposed to do, it does it perfectly which is cool your machine. Recommended. ## Features - New Upgraded Version-Cooling Gets Quiet and Quicker: Equipped with 5.5-inch large diameter turbo booster fan, combined sealed foam, ensures perfect cooling effect, 360 degrees all-round dynamic cooling, your laptop can reduce temperature by 44°C in 90 seconds (CPU+GPU), even during 4K rendering or AAA gaming, operating noise ≤70dB - 3-Port USB Hub and Precise Control: The V12 laptop cooler features three USB 2.0 ports, turning your cooling pad into a central workstation hub. This solves the problem of limited ports on modern laptops, allowing you to connect a high-speed mouse, keyboard, and hard drive simultaneously. Meanwhile, the scroll wheel allows for easy, instantaneous, and precise airflow adjustment. ⚠️ For peripherals only – NOT for charging devices - Integrated Dust Filtration Extends Laptop Lifespan: This cooler fan features a high-density, removable dust filter that effectively protects the internal fans of laptops. It captures hair and debris, preventing them from entering the vents, thus solving the common "pressure cooker" dust buildup problem, significantly extending the lifespan of your expensive gaming PC and reducing costly professional cleaning - Soothing Controllable RGB: RGB light bar on the laptop cooling pad for PC, with 10 modes and 4 light colors collection, matches your PC gears accessories for amazing synergy even in dim room. Intuitive Touch-Mute Button adjusts RGB lighting with a single finger, minimizing distractions. Configured memory function, the laptop cooler RGB eliminates repeated selections and brings itself alive when power on - User-Friendly Design: Featuring a reinforced chassis design, it's suitable for heavy-duty laptops from 15.6 to 19 inches. Three adjustable tilt angles (3°/12°/15°) allow you to customize your viewing height (scenario), directly alleviating neck and shoulder fatigue during long gaming or work sessions (pain point solved), ensuring maximum comfort and better posture - High Power Output: Equipped with a 36W power output, the cooling pad provides robust performance, ensuring that your laptop remains cool even during demanding tasks. - What 's in the Box: 1* Laptop Cooler, 1* 36W Power Adapter, 1* Dust Filter, 1* MemoryFoam Seal, 1* USB-A to C Cable ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C69BVWGB | | Best Sellers Rank | #172 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #4 in Laptop Cooling Pads | | Brand | llano | | Color | Black RGB | | Cooling Method | Air | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 2,283 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 16.9"L x 12.9"W x 2.7"H | | Item Highlight | 5.5 Inch Turbofan, Airtight Pressure Chamber, for 15.6-19in Laptop, Adjustable Speed, Dustproof, 3-Port USB Hub, Black (RGB) | | Item Weight | 1.8 kg | | Manufacturer | llano | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) | | Mfr Part Number | V12 | | Model Number | V12 Black (Hub+RGB) | | Number of Fans | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 16.9"L x 12.9"W x 2.7"H | | UPC | 704444171967 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | One Year | ## Product Details - **Brand:** llano - **Color:** Black RGB - **Item Weight:** 1.8 kg - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) - **Product Dimensions:** 16.9"L x 12.9"W x 2.7"H ## Images ![V12 Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad Laptop Cooler Laptop Cooling Fan Stand - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71t9L9oIYhL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why does the V12 have good cooling performance?** A: This is determined by three main factors: The 5.5-inch diameter industrial turbine fan, a high power operation of 36W, and an ideal speed of 2800 RPM. It also benefits greatly from llano's 12 years of expertise in laptop peripherals. **Q: Why does higher speed result in more noise?** A: We use brushless motors, the faster they rotate, the greater the airflow produced, which enhance cooling effect. However, this also leads to increased noise. **Q: Why can the V12 only reach a maximum speed of 2800rpm?** A: Through repeated testing by our engineers and found that a 5.5in large-diameter fan only generates noise close to the maximum acceptable level at a maximum speed of 2800 RPM and achieving optimal cooling efficiency. **Q: How often is the dust-proof cotton typically replaced?** A: It usually needs to be replaced every 3 to 6 months. the dust-proof cotton can prevent dust from entering the laptop, thereby extending the lifespan of the laptop **Q: Can I turn the lights off?** A: Yes, just long press the RGB mode button for 2s, turning on the rgb light is the same operation. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very impressive *by A***X on December 24, 2025* Was skeptical about buying this because of its size and price. Since using the llano v12 laptop pad cooler, I’ve seen my GPU temperatures drop consistently by around 10-15°C, which is a notable improvement and makes extended sessions far more comfortable. The airflow can be clearly felt, and the fan goes all the way to 2800 RPM, which is LOUD. The USB ports are a nice addition too; providing extra ones that I don't even need, but are good to have, since I have a Thunderbolt hub. The build quality of the cooler is excellent, and while I did experience a small rattling noise in the first unit I received, it never once impacted the cooler’s functionality. Llano Tech Shop promptly addressed the issue with genuine hospitality and care, helping me out with my issue swiftly. Their customer service left a positive impression and I will certainly be back to purchase more of their items if I need them again! Overall, if you need an effective, reliable way to keep a high-performance laptop running cooler, the llano v12 laptop pad cooler is an excellent choice. P.S. You can even turn the RGB off for all you RGB haters. ## Frequently Bought Together - llano RGB Laptop Cooling Pad, Gaming Laptop Cooler with Powerful Turbofan, Fast Cooling Laptop 15.6-21in, Adjustable Speed, Touch Control, LCD Screen - llano V12 & V13 Laptop Cooling Pad Memory Foam Seal and Dust Cover - llano V12 & V13 Laptop Cooling Pad Dust Cover - 5pcs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/561250106-v12-gaming-laptop-cooling-pad-laptop-cooler-laptop-cooling-fan](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/561250106-v12-gaming-laptop-cooling-pad-laptop-cooler-laptop-cooling-fan) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
