Very good cross stitch kit nearly finished for my friend who's a brilliant at sewing.

Bought this cross stitch to do for my daughter for her 40th birthday surprise as she is a keen sewer, it will look nice in her sewing room,it's easy to do and instructions are clear not quite finished yet as got till end of the year to finishes.

Much harder than anticipated. Only one chart, which is hard to follow due to the ‘over stitching’ details printed on the same chart, making it really difficult to follow the main pattern; would have preferred a separate 2nd chart for the ‘over stitching’ details.

This was bought as a Christmas present but it looks to be a lovely project. Good quality threads included, all marked on the card with corresponding symbols, in the pack as well as a needle and I assume that the instructions will be clear. Ideal for those that love crafts and have their own sewing room.

Not easy working out the colours: different markings on the card and pattern.

It says it is 14 count aida but the piece supplied is 11 count. The pattern is printed on that piece, along with measurement lines and a colour chart which means if you sew over it you will have lines showing where there is no picture and difficulty framing as the chart runs up to the edge of the picture!! The picture shows outlining to pick out the picture but no chart is supplied for this. All things considered it is quite useless. I've only given it 1 star because it's not possible to give none.

Brilliant design and really enjoying making it. Pretty sure my mum will love it for her birthday present
