Review: Thumpity thump - The muffler on my Polaris 425 Magnum has rusted out and the OEM mufflers were discontinued long ago, and I couldn’t find a used one that was priced affordably, so I bought this universal muffler. Usually universal means they don’t fit anything, at least without some fabrication, which in this case was true, but it was minor. I had to do a little grinding on the adapter to open it up slightly so it would slide over my exhaust pipe, then rig up a hanger for the back. All in all I’m very happy with the end product, it’s a pretty decent quality muffler, it looks nice, and sounds good. I leave the baffle in, I like a quiet engine, and it’s rather loud if the baffle’s out. Plus you can’t beat the price, there’s nothing else I could find this cheap for the quality and ease of fit.
Review: Recommended - Good design, we ordered the one with carbon fiber. Installed it in a Honda Rebel 500, we made some modifications in order to install the supports for it. This exhaust sounds great, and the finishing on it is impecable.
