Brilliant album and great value

the only thing i don't like about this cd is it hasn't got lovely to see you again my friend on it. despite this, the very best of the moody blues is an eclectic collection of songs starting with go now, and then sixteen more fine tracks. these include tuesday afternoon, nights in white satin, ride my see saw, vices in the sky, question, the story in your eyes, isn't life strange and i'm just a singer in a rock n roll band, all from the late sixties to the early seventies era. personally, i think this was their best phase. next there's steppin in a slide zone, forever autumn, the voice and gemini dream, all from the mid to late seventies. your wildest dreams and i know you're out there somewhere from the early eighties follow, and there's two songs i don't know called blue guitar and blue world, which are growing on me. this return to the moodies reminds me of my hippy friends lynne and les. i cadged several cigarettes off les one sunday afternoon, and returned the favour a few days later by going to hot rats vinyl records shop and buying two classic moody blues albums. they were over the moon with them. les was really pleased with them because he said people usually never gave him anything in return. i saw lynne in the supermarket a few years later, and i let her listen to my cd player. i had lovely to see you again or something like that playing and there was lynne, standing next to the vegetarian cumberland sausage, boogieing her little socks off at twenty past four on a thursday afternoon. i'm distantly related to lynne and i still love them both dearly. i haven't seen them for years, so i hope they are both keeping canny. and les's spacey brew, which contained no drugs, just brake fluid, turnip and orange juice fermented together with sommerblumchen, couldn't be faulted. it didn't half give me wind, mind. oops!

Just as good now as they were in the 60’s/70’s. Thanks Justin and Denny. 👍

This Issue Has Been " Digitally Re-Mastered " So If You Do Own Some Groovy Equipment, This CD Should Sound Much Better ( Supposedly ) ....Anything To Get Those £ & $ Rolling In Eh ? Good One, And It's Great To Hear Denny Lane ( Wings ) Doing The Lead-Vocal On The Classic " Go Now "......
