Top quality product for a very reasonable price.
My first impressions of this product was very good. When taking the product out of the box I was surprised that the bag that covers and protects the tripod was very high quality. The tripod itself is compact when packed away, and as I was first setting the tripod up I was impressed with the feel, weight and the quality of the product. It is reassuring that I will be trusting my camera equipment to a well built and sturdy tripod. The versatility of the tripod is a photography dream. The ease of the twist locks on the telescopic legs make setting up to the desired height a breeze. The monopod as an extra feature is a bonus that many more expensive tripods just don't feature. Being able to set the camera mount up in multiple positions is great. The ability to mount my camera as low as possible brings with it an amazing way to shoot low level pictures that suit wildlife subjects. The boom arm was needed to undertake macro photography and this was sturdy without any shake. Just what is needed when their is limited access for the tripod legs. I did like the hook that lets you add weight to the tripod, not that its needed unless the weather conditions are severe enough. Overall I am more than pleased with this tripod. It will be a great addition to my equipment. Will it turn me into a world famous photographer, no (unfortunately) but it will give me more opportunities to improve the quality of my photos and bring different perspectives to photographing subjects.

Surprised!!
I bought this tripod for a couple of events shooting video and stills. Did not want to go cheap as I need it to withstand travelling and being thrown about/bumped into, but did not want to spend a fortune as it will be thrown about and bumped into!! I chose this one as it is tall, so I can shoot above the heads of a crowd if needed and also has a detachable monopod. First impressions when it arrived was how solid it felt, not very heavy but more solid. The bag that comes with it is really well made, it is not just a thin cheaply made freebie, but a good quality storage bag with a comfortable strap. I noticed how smooth the legs unfolded and the center column rises and falls, the engineering is good and everything is tight and positively locks in place. Two of the best features that you donโt see on many tripods are that you can lock the ball head, but has a separate screw that loosens to let you pan, and also the way the center column can be changed to horizontal. I did this and it gives a better and smoother pan (more control for video), also good for landscape photography when creating a panorama. I am 6โ3โ (190cm) tall and even when I stand on my toes I cannot see through the viewfinder when fully extended, it is a tall tripod!! It closes up to a really compact size, the center column inverts so the camera can be placed almost on the floor if needed. The only negative I have is that the instructions are very basic. It gives the use, setup and warnings but there is another small tube and screw that I have worked out is used when changing to monopod. It is not a big issue and can easily be worked out, but with the quality and detail in the rest of the product I think that this could be better. The most important thing is that I feel confident putting my expensive camera and lens on this tripod without any worries. I would definitely replace it with the same model if this one was stolen. One very happy customer!!

Great value for money and very versatile!
This product looks great when you get it out of the box, it comes in a nice padded carry case with handles and a shoulder strap. It comes with basic instructions that give the user the required info to be able to use all features of the tripod. The tripod itself is very stable and feels extremely well made. The aluminium construction is nice, but does add a little weight, though for the functionality itโs a small sacrifice. A single leg is detachable allowing for the conversion to a monopod, which as per the images, can be used with the ball head mount. This can be done with no tools required, which gives great flexibility when on location, as it doesnโt require extra gear to be carried. Towering over me at around 2m tall when fully extended or when reconfigured the centre post can be mounted upside down. The horizontal arm allows for the perfect position for top down shooting or macro photography, giving a reasonable reach with good stability. Overall I am very impressed with this tripod and would definitely recommend it, especially when compared to competitors offerings, which generally have a much higher price point. K&F have produced a great product that is a pleasure to use.

Excellent bit of kit.
Excellent product, stable and smooth to use. A bit heavier than I expected, but this seems to be a very solid bit of kit.

Love this tripod
I bough this tripod to replace my Manfrotto traveller tripod as I wanted one that could also be used as a monopod. I am super happy with this purchase. It is lightweight, comes in a really nice case, and folds down small enough that I can easily take it travelling with me. It is really sturdy and easy to set up and can support the weight of my Canon 7DMkii plus Sigma 150-600mm lens no problem. It has a spirit level built in so its easy to get the tripod level and the legs and height are very easily adjustable. It is considerably more versatile than my previous Manfrotto tripod. Not only does it turn into a monopod but you can put the camera pretty much any height and position you like including right down to the ground which I thought was a cool feature as I do wildlife photography so my subjects can literally be anywhere! I think given the versatility of this tripod it is excellent value for money and it feels very good quality.

Kook K&F
So I'm in the market for a tripod. Hmmm....but which one to choose? There's hundreds - and if you're easily swayed by the Youtubers, camera shops and magazines, the only possible way forward - unless you're a complete newbie - is carbon fibre. But take one look at CF tripods and you'll see that they're at least ยฃ200+ - probably nearer ยฃ300. Can I warrant paying that? No. So it's going to have to be an aluminium one. Let's see what's available. Hmmm....what's this - 'K&F Concept'....never heard of them. If I've never heard of them, they can't be any good, right? WRONG! I ordered this tripod because of the range of options it has available - - Ball & Socket Head; - Invertable (is that a word?) centre section to get camera down to ground level; - Ability to mount centre column at right angles; - Option to unscrew one leg to become a monopod; - Quality (and I mean quality) carry bag; - Centre hook to hang bag/weight on to improve stability. And it had 10% off when I bought it! It's a well machined piece of kit. It feels good. It's not heavy - but it's not lightweight either. It feels reliable. The legs invert for carrying/storage so the head of the tripod is hidden by the folded legs. Unhinging the legs gives you the option of several 'click-stops' for setting up. You can get your camera down to ground level with this - or up to about 6 feet. I love it. Great bit of kit - and a bargain price too. I've since learned that K&F also make CF tripods - it might be worth a look at one of those if that's the way you lean...

Solid Legs, Good Tripod Ballhead, Fantastic Centre Column
I bought this to record overhead videos. It's a more practical solution than hanging a camera at the bottom of a tripod centre column (which this tripod can also do). I have recorded three or videos with it so far. I would have liked the horizontal column to be slightly longer, but overall it's excellent. I'm really pleased as it is going to allow me to set up a more practical overhead camera rig. In my attached video I show you how it can work, but I'm still playing with the setup. I may sit the tripod off from the other side of my table and hang it over the other way. I have a few options. The overall package is good. The included case is high quality and comes with a shoulder strap. A simple manual and an allen key are provided as well. Although I have only had the tripod a few days, it is clear that it is built to last. The legs and centre column are all solid. The horizontal column can spin around 360 degrees, but you may find the tripod becomes unstable if you have the column fully extended. The ballhead is also high quality and wll be able to hold all the cameras I have. Check out my video to see how the tripod works in more detail and be sure to post any questions about anything I did not cover :)

Good not great
Ive had this tripod several months now. Its very versatile as it can be put into many positions. The build quality if this tripod isnt anywhere near profession grade which it claims to be. Its stable in most situations and the ball head is fluid. The main centre column which removes to flip upside down is locked in place under the red nut with a very flimsy plastic washer. If it comes out when you flip the centre column and you dont insert back correctly itll jam and is near impossible to dislodge. Something to be mindful about. The paint finish looks nice but scratches very easy. Overall i would recommend the tripod although i do feel its trying to be something its not, the centre column doesnt extend smoothly and its awkward to reposition and try to level the ball head again. The knobs and ball head feel smooth and built well. I paid ยฃ90 for this 6months ago. Its currently selling for over ยฃ100 which is over priced and i would suggest looking for an alternative tripod at this price. If you can pick it up for ยฃ89.99 or less then its a good deal otherwise pass.
