However all medical literature suggests that PPI’s do affect the result of stool tests and can give a false negative. They advise to come off PPIs and only do the test after 2 weeks of being off PPI. So to be on the safe side I would come off PPI if you can first. **Q: If I read the result more than 10 mins later, and found a very very faint line on T line. will the result still be correct?** A: Attached is the manufacturer guidance for interpretation of results. Hope this helps. **Q: I took this test and just got one large red line at T. What does this mean? Should this be treated as a positve result?** A: Erm, yes I think so. I found it quite hard to use and so wasn't entirely sure about whether the result was right - I didn't have a red line. Anyway, I hope you feel better.
