I’m an owner of multiple minimalist wallets. Even though other review says this wallet is “poorly made” it’s seriously my favorite! It works! I’ve used both the Ekster and Groove Life wallet. This wallet holds up amazing. It says it holds up to six non embossed cards. However I was able to add my CA License and it works with absolutely no issues. 7 total and it works just fine if not better! My cards don’t slip out! 1st day of using my groove wallet all my cards fell out with just one shake motion with hardly any force. This wall held them in place and I was shaking it quite a bit. This wallet is by far worth getting! Fits all my cards with zero issue.

I ordered this wallet simply because I couldn't justify $80 for a similar wallet. Upon its delivery, packaging was superb with no damage to it. This wallet while slightly bulkier to the one I had previous, feel so much better in the hands. The mechanism isn't grinding and feels rather smooth for a spring system. The felt pads inside the device are not thick to prevent the cards from bouncing out should you drop it. BUT I will say there is no binding and cards pop out very smooth. The only thing that I would do differently for this is slim it down just abit and add a flap to the top where the cards come out, just for that added security of the cards.

This wallet is ideal for anyone who appreciates minimalism. I've been using it for a few months, and it has performed exceptionally well. I never worry about my cards slipping out or feeling uneasy while carrying it. It offers both security and convenience, making it a fantastic choice for those who prefer a streamlined approach to their accessories. On the downside, this wallet can be a bit slippery, making it prone to sliding out of pockets, especially when wearing sweatpants. However, since I typically use a crossbody bag, I don’t worry about losing it. I got a great deal on this wallet, and it has held up remarkably well compared to many other competitor wallets that are significantly pricier. In summary, I would recommend this wallet to anyone who usually carries fewer cards. However, if you tend to carry a lot of cards, this may not be the right choice for you.

This is my first purchase of a minimalist sliding wallet. I was really looking forward based on some of the limited reviews I have watched. The wallet fit around seven cards. I found that it was harder to slide the wallet open when I had more cards in it, which was a bit frustrating. I really dig the faux wood grain on the wallet. However, the design really could do some work. There is really no way to carry cash with this wallet. I tried to snug some cash in between some of my cards, but the cash just would not pop up with the cards and was always hard to access. I almost never use cash, but I would feel dumb not having a few bucks when needed. I was also quite disappointed that the wood grain base has an imperfection which will likely get worse over time (see picture). I'm also quite afraid that over time this wallet will snag or damage pants pockets has it has sharp edges. At the sale price I paid for this wallet, it was not unreasonable value. However, I would not recommend this wallet and its current form. I plan on trying a similar wallet that's a bit more expensive to see if that works better. Again, I really want to live the wallet but it's just doesn't work for me right now.

Good decision for modern wallet

My cards were falling out because of just the slightest bump and the sliding motion was not at all smooth do not buy because you'll just end up returning it anyways.

My Dad had a green one and we spent an hour looking for this particular wallet on Amazon. It holds more cards than most and doesn’t get jammed. Pops out staggered which is nice. I do wish it held just one more card though.

I tested it for about 20 minutes and wasn’t completely satisfied. My metal credit card tends to slip out on its own when I position the slider upside down, even without shaking it. Plastic credit cards, however, stay secure. This makes me cautious, as there’s a risk of losing my metal card without noticing.
