Simple grow light that actually works
I have been using the SANSI clip on grow light for a little over a month with my monstera, and I am already seeing new leaf growth, which is the best proof that it is doing its job. The clip is strong and easy to attach to shelves or plant stands, and it stays in place without slipping. I like that the arm is adjustable, which made it easy to position the light directly over the plant without taking up much space. The light itself is bright without being harsh. I run it on a timer for several hours a day, and it has been very convenient not having to remember to turn it on and off. My monstera seems to be responding well, with healthier looking leaves and visible new growth since I started using it. One thing to note is that it is more suited for one or two plants rather than a large collection, but for a single houseplant it works perfectly. Overall, this has been a great addition to my plant setup. If you are looking for an affordable grow light for houseplants, especially in lower light areas, this is a solid choice.

It works!
Great product for single mid sized plant or a few small plants if you group them together which is what I have done. The timer works great. My purpose is during the winter as I live in the north and the plants I am using it for were showing signs of legginess and loss of color. They are loving it already. Once late spring/summer hits - I will have enough natural light, but this is great to assist in the short days of winter. Very happy with my purchase. No assembly needed. The length of the neck is nice and long and easily flexible. The clamp is fairly versatile - I have it clamped on to a piece of my window frame's edge molding. The variety of choices in regard to brightness is helpful as well.

My Tiger Flowering Maple absolutely loves this light!
This was a great find! I bought it for my flowering maple (Abutilon), and it absolutely loves this light. The large clip is sturdy, the flexible neck makes it easy to position the light exactly where I want it, and the dimmer is perfect for plants with different lighting needs. My favorite feature is the timer. Once it's set, I don't have to think about it again, and my plants get consistent light every day. It's simple to use, well-made, and has been a wonderful addition to my indoor plants.

Exactly What My Desk Cactus Needed!
This clip-on plant light has been a total game changer for my desk cactus! The brightness is adjustable , and the flexible neck makes it super easy to angle just right. I especially love the built-in timer. I can set it once and not have to worry about turning it on and off every day. It provides a consistent light cycle, which my plant wouldn't get otherwise. The clip is strong and stable, and the whole unit feels solid and well made. Since setting it up, I’ve noticed new growth on my cactus. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good little plant light.

40% Efficient power adapter?
Hey yall, I wanted to modify these excellent lights to work with my grow light timer and in the process i discovered how horribly inefficient the power adapters on these light are. i also figured id share some measurements i made with my light meter to help any one who doesn't own one figure out how much light they are providing to their plants. Last i used the data i collected and crunched some number to check sansi claims regarding light intensity. Anyways, I posted a picture of the timer/dimmer/switch for any one who would be interested in modifying these to be "Always on". Few people complained that these are not compatible with any timer you may have for existing grow lights. I ran into the same issue. The solution here is obvious. You basically have to bypass the board. I don't recommend you do it if you don't know how to do it right. But if sansi is listening it would be nice if you can add another set of barrel connectors above the controller. This can not only allow people to bypass it but also adjust cord length and controller positioning. I have almost knocked down other plants attempting to turn on my lights. I can't be the only one with this problem. While i had this disassembled I decided to measure exactly how much power these lights are using. i saw one review that stated that he used a kill-a-watt meter and saw a output of 10w. I used a multimeter that i tested before and after the readings. At the highest brightness settings i measured 16W at the wall. So then i took a reading after the adapter and got a reading of 6.3W. I found this alarming. That would mean that the power adapter on this grow light is only ~40% efficient at converting AC to DC. This is insanity. i repeated these measurements for every power setting and repeated some with other adapters that came with the five other Sansi grow lights i have with similar results. Let me put this into dollars and cents. I use theses grow lights for 16 hrs a day and a kilowatt hour here in NYC after all charges is about $.31. One year of operating this this light with this adapter will cost me ~$29. If Sansi provided Gallium Nitride (GaN) adapters which operate at a efficiency of ~90% it will cost ~$12 to operate for a year. For me with my three lights will be a difference of ~$51 a year. Im lucky that i have the know how to make this happen safely. I do not know how poor the quality of adapters are provided by competitors. This may not be a fair comparison for Sansi. But if i had any recommendation for Sansi it would be to get more efficient power adapters! (For reference a 12v 30W GaN adapter cost about ~$18 retail and should be sufficient for my three lights) The last thing i wanted to share was another small spread sheet i made. I used 6", 9", 12". I figured this would be useful since on their website they make recommendations on how far you should place the lamps to certain plants and what the coverage would be. And yes its a sharp exponential drop which then had me thinking..... Using that data i can calculate if sansi is being honest on the amount of lumens their light produces. Lumens and Lux are related to each other 1000 Lumen source will produce a 1000Lux at 1m if it had a beam width of 1M^2. When i measured the amount of light i got at 1 meter i got 499. I chuckled. In their marketing material they claim a beam width of 1.07 ft^2 and 1.94ft^2 at 9" and 12" respectively. If you extrapolate they claim that at 1M you will have a 2M^2 beam width. I didn't attempt to measure the beam width my self but the math worked out perfectly. (It didn't line up when it came to the amount of lumens i got at 9"&12" ~395Lux @ 39.72"(1m) but it think this could be because of a not perfectly uniform beam) Moving on. I like the grow lights. They work as expected they look nice and my jalapenos and strawberries are doing great!

I Love These Little Critters
So far, I'm pleased. The real test is how my plants do throughout the winter. I bought several of these lights because there is less sun coming into my place, and with summer ending, I won't be able to sunbathe anymore. I was concerned they would not clip onto my larger pots. Fortunately, they clip! I hope this brand lasts. The grow light I bought last time did not last. Well, it will turn on occasionally. There is no support from the other brand. I hope support is stellar with this company if issues arise. I'll be bringing in some succulents soon and using these lights on them until spring. The timer works as expected. I'll need to dial it in as the days get darker. I like the adjustable brightness settings and height of the grow lights. The stability is quite good until you mount it on a thin object, such as the plastic drawers next to my growing station. The bendable stand helps balance it out, though, which is a great feature when you need to adjust the height and angle. The lights look great, too. The bad grow light really stood out and didn't blend in. I'm looking forward to spring to see how these lights work out. By the way, I placed a second order.

Great for Orchids!
I love these grow lights. I have had them on my orchids and jade plant for awhile now. I am seeing a huge difference in my plants. My jade plant is growing a little to fast and I had to get a brace for it to keep it from leaning. A orchid that I deemed the "mutant" which has had issues for years has now decided it has about five basal kekei's. It, along with another orchid is doing well. I love that I can clip this onto a pot, set the timer, and just let it go. The only issue I have; which really isn't the products fault is we do have a number of power outages during the monsoon season. You will have to reset your timer if you do have power outages. Great value. Would recommend.

LOVE THIS! Great daylength and intensity options!
This is great and works to add light during the long, dark winter days or to extend the daylength. It also is fantastic because it has several choices for intensity. I love this. It clips securely to my pot. There are different durations also. Very functional!!!

Versatile, subtle and effective!
Great product based on my short term use so far! Very good range of brightness settings (very bright on its highest settings, but modest on its lower settings if you have them in a living space like we do). Love that they're slim, and much more subtle than some of the alternatives I looked at. The flexible arm is stronger than I had expected, so you can expect it to stay put. Works well and consistently on the schedule I've set, and the light retains its previous brightness setting when using the timer. I haven't experienced any timer drift yet. I read some reviews about the light/housing getting too hot, but they seem to be "normal" to me (no hotter than any other 40-60 watt LED equivalent standard bulbs in my house). They do emit a whiter light than the rest of the 2700-3000k bulbs in my house, but not really a concern for me for my daytime use schedule. The clips are fine, although they seem a bit lighter duty than the rest of the assembly. I imagine as long as you're not moving them frequently, they'll survive. I did notice that for one of the lights in my pack that the gooseneck arm was able to spin freely within the clip, which shouldn't be a problem if you mount them as advertised (vertically to a pot). I actually removed the clip portion on one of my lights (which breaks the clip) so I could mount it to a speaker stand, which worked great. The other is mounted to a tray, which is holding tight!

Excelente calidad y resultado

Need one? Buy three!
Amazing. I am shocked at how well/ quickly these work. I have several plants that only get indirect light, and they're surviving, but I haven't seen any growth on them in a little while. Within 2 weeks of using these lights approx 12 hours a day there was noticeable growth on several of the plants. Specifically the Ivy and the succulents. You can see in the cactus picture that the left prong looks a little bit like a ball at the top. All of that growth has been since these lights have been on it.

After several months surprisingly better than expected
Surprisingly better than I’d expected. They add a boost that my plants much appreciate in the lower light months. The clip is sturdy and is well placed on both plastic as well as thicker ceramic and terracotta pots.
