Comfy support!
Hi! These thigh high, footless, medical compression stockings are great! I'm 5'3 and 150lbs, carry most of my weight in booty and thighs. Also, I'm having swelling in my thighs due to vein issues and quadricep injury. My vein doctor recommended I get 20-30mm compression tights to reduce swelling and upcoming procedures. These are really comfortable!! Not so tight that they're strangling my swollen legs, but tight enough that it gives my legs support. I have more energy from the increased blood flow. When I take them off after a long day at work, my legs look as good as when I wake up in the morning!! This is a game changer, but obviously you have to find the medical root of your swelling also. They have silicone grips at the top of the stockings which I find comfortable. They stay in place and go to the very top of my legs. There's extra at the bottom, not sure if it's supposed to cover some of my feet? I prefer to wear socks, and just bunch the extra at my ankles. I don't even notice, they're so comfy and make my legs look great too!! I got the XL size.Update* So years later after washing in the washing machine in a garment bag and hang drying, these have gotten stiff from my detergent. So I bought a new pair, exact same size and color, XL/ black. Again these are so soft and stretchy with extra room for longer legs (than mine). They are still my favorite pair of medical compression stockings! I just had more vein surgeries in both legs and they're both so swollen, but these stretchy stockings still fit perfect! Also I've become extremely allergic to silicone, aka the grips at the top. I just turn them inside out, so the grips are on the outside . They look the same and stay up perfectly! Love these!!!

Worth it and they work...
Not too tight, comfortable... well worth it.

Great with "fitru" for thunder thighs
Great for thin legs. Mine are not and quite disproportionate to the rest of my body. So while they fit, they cut off main arteries (that's what it feels like). However, I also purchased fitru thigh wraps and placed the stockings over them just perfectly to mitigate this issue. I love them, they're well made but and they make a great pairing with additional wrapping.

Good for compression, ok for coverage
I didn't buy these for medical/compression purposes, but I'm leaving a review just in case there's anyone else who's also been looking for leg tattoo coverage. I have a full black and gray leg sleeve and work in an office setting in a city that gets incredibly hot and muggy. I wanted to be able to wear dresses without thick pantyhose, so I purchased these to cover the sleeve on my one leg. The coverage is great for my lower leg, but the tattoos are fairly visible where the fabric stretches more on my knee and thigh. Perfect, cheap solution for my situation, since I wear knee-length dresses and no one in my office looks too closely. However, if you want total coverage for a very conservative office, this may not be the sleeve for you.I've worn these for long periods where I walk around a fair amount, and they've never slipped down my leg, stretched out, or ripped.

Fits like a glove made for a Barbie
Thigh-high compression stockings are just what the doctor ordered, but these have failed me twice now. $50 and 2 sizes larger later and I’ve given up trying. I like the idea of still being able to wear sandals in the hot Texas heat despite compression stockings being a daily medical necessity for me. I thought these were the golden ticket. And they were, right up until that journey into a heaven full of foot freedom took a nosedive into hell. Some days I have to work on my feet for hours without a break. Some days part of my work requires me to be on a ladder. Some days I’m bending down and standing up on a loop repeating for hours on end. These thigh highs were magical in keeping me from constantly blacking out like I so often do on days like this. It wasn’t until I missed a step on the ladder though, that I suddenly realized my right foot was entirely numb. And I mean entirely. I jabbed it with dull scissors and didn’t feel a thing. When I looked down I found that my ankle bone had been replaced by a pillowy, puffy pouch overstuffed with fluid. Which was equally curious as it was concerning.I removed the stockings and put my feet up for a few minutes to try and help the swelling. But duty calls and that job was waiting for no one so I powered through to the end of the day. One blackout at a time until the job was done. For as much of a savior as these were up until they took a foot in sacrifice, my circulation problems and palpitations came back with a roaring vengeance when I took them off. 4 hours later and my right foot was still a sloppily swollen mess. Though the swelling had gone down some as you can see.Obviously these were not the right size for me. But neither were the smaller ones preceding it.Maybe it’s the fact that the ankle portions are so numbingly tight on me, yet the thighs are loose enough to slip throughout the day. Maybe it’s the fact I have cankles that fall into one sizing category while the circumference of my thighs falls into another. Maybe it’s user error. All I know for sure is that if I go up one more size the ankle portion will still be too tight and the inseam will still be far too long.I’m 5’4, and I weigh 114 pounds and both the medium and the large were far too small for me. Maybe I’m proportionally off in the leg department. Regardless, reviewers aren’t kidding when they say to size up. I would have initially ordered a small had I not listened. And with how nearly impossible it was to fit the mediums and with how troublesome the outcome of the large was, I know with certainty that Barbie herself wouldn’t fit into the small. Not even had she just come off a 4 day fasting cleanse. These stockings were not for me. But they may still be right for you. Just size up, proceed with caution the first time you wear them, and be aware of your feet.

product too small despite sizing chart
I was looking for a therapeutic compression sleeve for my leg after knee surgery. I followed all of the instructions on the sizing chart, including going up one size, but the product was too small, extremely tight fitting and constricted blood flow to my foot. Within minutes I had to take it off as it was causing discomfort and my foot was read and slightly swollen.

They work well for me
I use reviews a lot so I'll write one for this.I'm tall, 6', and more on the heavier side. I ordered an extra large. The fit is great for my height, the fabric is sturdy and the grip at the top of the thigh is great. I have thin ankles so I haven't experienced it being too tight there. It does tend to roll down on my upper thigh but it could be because I don't have thigh gap; my thighs touch. Perhaps if I pull them up to only about mid thigh they'll not roll, but I haven't tried that yet. For the price, they work great for me and since I only need them for one leg, I've got a two for the price of one deal. I would order them again.

Correct Sizing
I soon as these were delivered I put them on and for the first time after many purchases of other socks I felt sheer reliefI went a size up from my normal size of large to XL I wanted to make sure they were not to tight at top of leg and they fit me perfectly I can barely tell I have them on I love them at last I found comfort for my arthritis they are not itchy or scratchy lovely and soft with plenty of give in the stretchI would definitely recommend though be careful with sizing if you have a larger thighThank you I will order again from this seller
