could I use the middle mount for a ultra wide and use the two side ones to have on top of the ultra wide?

I want to know the exact same thing - 2 x 27 on top, 1 x 34 UW centre bottom. I've ordered and will let you know how I get on when I receive it.

Hi. I have three 24" monitors I want to have in portfrait/vertical mode. Will the Duronic DM553 Spring Triple accomodate this setup?

Hello, If the monitors are by the same manufacturer that will work perfectly! But do make sure the monitors have wall the appropriate holes in the back for having on a stand( if they have four screw holes it will work). If you have three different monitors, it will still work, but i am not sure whether the will all stay in line. Hope this helps! sounds like an awesome setup tho

Would this monitor bracket (duronic 553), fit three 24inch widescreen monitors that are a length of 530mm each from edge of left bezel to right bezel?

Sorry cannot answer this as I only bought a single monitor stand. The throw on the arm is however 43cm from centre of monitor to support pole so in theory it will accommodate a monitor which is 800mm wide.

Can you mount the centre vesa plate without the arm, to make it closer to the upright pole?

Yes you can actually, mine came with a choice of arm or plate for the center.
