strong, smooth action, pocket safe, workhorse
I cleared a trail to test them, in January, mixed eastern forest -- these are indeed noticeably easier to cut with, up to 3/4" as described, except through the dormant white oak which had to be about 1/2" to cut well (tough stuff.) They did not make my hand tired (!) even after an hour solid on varied trees, vines and shrubs. I found on the 3/4" oak branches or dry dead ones I could work the blade back & forth 2-3x and slice through, which my bypass pruners would not without a struggle. On anything less hard they honestly went through the branch with a fluid easy motion, very nice and I say about time I have some that don't wear me out or make me quit sooner. The smooth blade helps too, like I said a fluid motion. They did not leave that uncut "tail" piece at the bottom of the branch when it was tough, cool. The handles fit well in my hand. The lock is not going to fall off like those metal loops often do. The nose of the locked pruner can go in my back pocket with ZERO sharpness, it doesn't poke thru my jeans at all, so in my yard I can always have them handy even when doing other work, and they did not work out the top of the pocket either. I like and recommend these, just save the 1" stuff for longer loppers.

Good for smaller hands.
Got them in the mail yesterday and went right out to use them. So far I really like them. Sharp so far. They are pretty light so we will see how they stand up to repeated use. One thing I really like is the size. I have small hands and so many pruners spring open to fully open and I can't wrap my hand around them so I am constantly readjusting my grip. These can go fully open if you need to make a big cut. But the spring must be different as my grip could stay in the correct spot for my hand size. One negative (which might not even be a negative) is that they seem pretty light. I wouldn't say flimsy. Just light. Which might be OK. Less hand fatigue. As long as they hold up. We will have to see.

Sharp and so easy to use.
I love these clippers. The anvil and pulley system make them so easy to use. My 93 year old Aunt was here visiting and wanted to help with some outdoor jobs I was doing, so I handed her the clippers and she was so delighted with them, she ordered a pair for herself so she could do yard work around her house she'd given up doing with the clippers she had. Another good thing about them is the catch to hold them in a 'closed position' is convenient and doesn't get closed by accident, as happens with some other brands.

Cut Well, Light Weight, Great Value
I recently purchased 3 different anvil pruning shears. All 3 had a designed that used mechanical advantage to make cutting easier. Of the 3, the EEPIRR pruners were the best cutting, lightest, and least expensive. All 3 worked fine, but the EEPIRR pruner is the one I like the best.

This is a sharp buy
These bad boys are easy to work with and cut branches bigger than any of my previous shears could handle.
