This helps so much with depression. I have taken this on and off for years after a natural medicine doctor recommended it. Yes, the pill casing taste like strawberries. There is no fish taste at all. No burp taste either

I really like this so far! The inside of the bottle actually smells so good, like strawberries! Taste/smell wasn't really an important factor for me, but this is a nice bonus. These capsules weren't completely burpless for me, when taken on an empty stomach, but the burps weren't fishy at all, and tasted like strawberries so it didn't bother me at all! If you take these capsules with food, these are probably burpless. The capsules are about the same size as most fish oil pills, so they were easy enough to swallow most of the time. As for how well the pills work, it's probably a little too soon to tell for me, so I plan to update this review later and adjust the rating accordingly, but so far it seems to work well enough like most other quality fish oil capsules. I do like that this brand seems to use quality ingredients without any extra added unhealthy ingredients added, and the dosage of the EPA and DHA seem to be a good amount, and you only need to take two capsules a day rather than three like a lot of other brands. I share these capsules with my mother and brother to help with joint pain/headaches, and it seems to work well enough so far! Will update this review later after taking it for longer. Anyway, I do recommend this brand so far, because 3 bottles of fish oil for about $30 from a good brand seems like a pretty good deal! I will probably re-order this.

I have difficulties swallowing large capsules, so for years I've been taking Carlson Labs Elite Omega-3 chewable lemon-flavored fish oil capsules. I liked the product, but last month I read some information about the Smarter Vitamins Omega 3 Fish Oil with strawberry flavor, and it captured my attention. I was not sure whether it would be okay to chew the Smarter Vitamins capsules, so I wrote the company, and Tanya from Customer Support responded promptly. She noted that the product wasn't advertised as a chewable, but the gel shell and the oil itself had some strawberry flavoring, so it should be possible to chew the capsules without being overwhelmed by the fishy taste. She even chewed one to try it! Anyway, I purchased a bottle, and I am very pleased to report that for the past month I have chewed one or two every day with supper. I think they taste great--maybe a bit of fish oil, but mostly of strawberry--and there is no fishy aftertaste. I actually like the taste of the gel and contents. Everyone's taste buds are different, so I can't conclude that everyone who needs to chew a fish oil capsule will love this product, but it's definitely worth a try if you are looking for chewable fish oil capsules. It's hard to compare how I feel with this product versus the Carlson product, but I have to say that I have had a lot more energy in the past month, and the only difference in my diet and supplements has been the switch to the Smarter Vitamins Omega 3 Fish Oil.

I have found this to be the only salmon oil capsule that I can take, since I hate fish and cant stand the thought of burping up fish taste. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I dont taste it at all, although rarely I will burp up a very slight taste, but its rare and its not strong. I've taken them faithfully for 6 months now, in response to some bloodwork that showed high cholesterol. I take 2 of them per day, plus green tea, and CoQ10. My new bloodwork just came back: total cholesterol down 36 points, LDL (bad cholesterol ) down 46 points, and HDL (good) up 12 points! I couldn't have been more pleased! I also kicked my keto diet to the curb and replaced it with healthier eating, fasting 1x a week, and have dropped 10 lbs. These changes have been very positive, and I'd say, dont hesitate to buy this fish oil supplement, its well worth the benefits!

Came in the dose my Dr told me to take, easy to swallow, don't smell bad like fish. I don't taste the strawberry because I swallow them whole, but they do not cause fishy smell burps. I like the color of the pill better than the standard yellow kind I've seen before too. They cram the bottle full with no room to spare, which makes it a little difficult to get them out when you first start the bottle, but that won't last long. It came well sealed with a safety seal. I'm glad they didn't melt in my mailbox. USPS delivered them a day late, so I couldn't be home for them, so they were in a metal mailbox on a 95 degree day for 4 hours and didn't melt, so that is awesome. Also, they included a coupon for a FREE extra bottle. I am so glad, because my Dr told me to take these daily every month for additional help with depression, anxiety, and fibromyalgia. These are a great product! I also love that they come in a black bottle, because I have vitamin D pills in a white bottle, so it makes it easy not to mix them up. Thank you so much Smarter Vitamins!!!
