Nudge Pure Silk Dental Floss for Sensitive Gums & Wider Gaps: Made with Silk and Candelilla Wax, Natural Floss in a Reusable Glass Container (Glass Dispenser + 1 x 30m Silk Floss)

I had ordered a container of Nudge. It was average to above average. So I reordered 2 more containers since I had run out. The quality of this container was horrible. Wouldn’t go between teeth and then would go between teeth and get stuck and/or break. Just used and the Nudge broke and lodged between teeth. Literally I have a 1/2 inch piece of the floss stuck between my teeth and can’t get out. Tried another floss to get out the lodged piece between teeth. Won’t budge. Tried to get out with fingers and tweezers. No luck. May have to go to dentist tomorrow to get it removed. Do not buy! Waste of money and time.

This is the worst dental floss I have ever tried. I bought it because consumer reports recommended it. I don't think i was able to floss even one tooth. It broke easily and got stuck between my teeth...when I was able to even get it between my teeth. I actually want my money back.

I have crowded teeth and cannot floss with this product. It’s too thick, it frays too easily, and it gets stuck in my teeth. It’s also expensive, though I generally don’t mind paying extra for better products. It doesn’t matter how healthy of a flossing option it is if it prevents you from flossing. This product is so bad that it leads me to not floss at all. I’m back to using floss with undisclosed material - at least that prevents gingivitis.

I have always used a name brand waxed, mint dental floss, but once I found out dental floss may contain dangerous PFAOs I decided to try Nudge PFAO FREE Dental Floss, and I Love it. There was no difference from the way Nudge feels compared to my old dental floss, but Nudge comes in a cute glass bottle and is PFAO FREE. Slightly more pricy, but definitely worth it to pay a little more for the confidence that it is PFAO FREE.

I like that this floss is natural and free of harmful coatings (who knew that dental floss contained PFAs and other risky chemicals?). However, it is about as thin as sewing thread, and broke off between my teeth the first time I used it, leaving a bit of thread that was hard to get out. Perhaps it is best for perfect, smooth, widely-spaced teeth, but I will be putting it in my sewing kit.

Right, so I was very enthusiastic about this at first. Initially, I started noticing that it would break pretty when I was trying to get it between some of the tighter joints of my teeth. Sometimes it would go sometimes it wouldn't. Annoying thing about that.Is it would get stuck in there. Then, I would have to use a waxed PFAS filled string of floss to get this one out. This is a typical american manufacturer that does a focus group to come out with acute name and then has all the appealing aspects of recycling reusing organic, but they go to the chinese manufacturer of the silk and failed to specify diameter of thread that won't break easily. As one other reviewer said, cheap chinese product that looks good but doesn't really function.

I am very happy it was PFA free but my teeth are too close together so this floss broke.

I wanted to love this floss given it doesn’t have any nasties in it, sadly I am left disappointed. The primary problem I have with this product is that it breaks while I’m flossing and gets stuck in between my teeth. I’ve experimented with different techniques in flossing and it’s improved however so far I have not been able to complete one sitting without 2-3 breaks. It actually is quite painful when it breaks in between your teeth and I have to hope I can get the broken piece out without breaking the second piece. I’ll try to finish it since I can’t stand waste, but I will have normal floss available to save me when this breaks. I would not purchase again.
