As another reviewer said, the lights are only on one side, so unless by some miracle you can keep the leash in one perfect position through an entire walk (good luck as it spins), you can’t see the lights on one side. Also, at least on the 6’ model, the lights only go part of way down. The most important part, a good foot or more from where it attaches to your dog, has NO lights. So maybe people will see it and think you’re walking Zero, the floating dog. IDK. After one month of use, it’s finally losing charge, and when we went to plug it in we found the charging port was actually severed at some point. This is up by the handle so not where the dog would chew. Assuming it’s a defect from manufacturing that we just never caught. When it totally dies, I guess we’ll just pitch it and buy a better quality leash.

This is a great durable leash and with an awesome cause!I got the pink one - the light looks more red but its awesome. Battery lasts a very long time the different modes are very easy to use.We get a compliment on it every time we're out on a walk.Ive seen the collars too, They're very handy at night if you're at a park or out and about and want your dog to me more visible. Definitely recommended!

After a few months of usage, the leash only lights up for a few inches on each end. I have two and both exhibit the same behavior. Charging the leash does not fix the issue. It's better than no light at all, but not by much. The leash is otherwise durable and useful.

Very well made and bright leash. Comfy in the hands. I have a 34lb dog and was worried it would be a little big for her but it is not. Suggestion for future version: Make the webbing behind the LED part out of a clear nylon rather than a solid color. This would allow the light to bleed through to the other side. Id would buy it again with that improvement.

Very disappointed. I bought this leash specifically for the LED feature when I walk my dog at night. Unfortunately the lights are only on one side and when the leash gets twisted (which was our entire walk) you can not see the lights at all. Additionally the lights only go part way through the leash. I would say a solid two feet had no lights. I hope this is just a defect and not all of the leashes.

I love this leash! It is the perfect weight and size for my 35 pound beagle. The handle is comfortable and sturdy. The light is perfect for walking at night. It's not so bright that you blind yourself when you glance down at your doggy but makes you more visible to motorists. I purchased the green colored leash and I love the balance of bright but not obnoxious. I would most definitely purchase this leash again.

Highly Recommend this leash! Very bright and well made. I got the pink in 4ft for my 9 pound dog. I like to walk at dusk, at night, in campgrounds, etc. This gives me extra peace of mind knowing my dog and I are highly visible! It's also fun! If you walk in the dark at all, you NEED this leash. Don't take any chances are being hit by cars who can't see us at night!

This was the second lease bought.1st. Didn’t come with a charger so that’s was the problem. Returned2nd came with recharge cable but didn’t recharge when plugged in the several different charging stations.Returning. Bummed! Love that people could see me and dog w/ having to carry a flashlight
