This kit exceeded my expectations, I loved it and I've saved a lot of money since I got it. Now I can do my nails at home just as beautifully and much more affordably.

This is my first time using poly gel and I love it! I have very thin and brittle nails thanks to hypothyroidism so I normally get dip manicures at the salon but in an effort to save money I decided to start doing them at home. I couldn’t find any dip kits that were easy and made it look like they were done at a salon—it was easy to tell they were done at home. Regular gel was still not firm enough for my weak nails but I did some research and decided to try poly gel. I did buy a more powerful UV lamp, so I didn’t try the one in this kit but the poly gel looks amazing. The first time I made a few mistakes so they popped off easily but I watched a few YouTube videos for tips and tricks and this was my second try. It’s so easy! It did take me a long time but only because I’m a perfectionist. Highly recommend this kit if you’re a beginner, and remember to use cuticle oil daily!

They aren’t perfect but I think they look so good for this being my first ever experience with polygel. The kit comes with everything but a drill. I was nervous about the lamp because every video I watched about starter kits like this one, they always suggest getting a bigger lamp. I had no problems curing the gels with this lamp tho. I cure the tops for one min then I flip my hand over and cure the underside of my nails for one min and that did the job for me. There are so many colors to choose from too! It also comes with a clear gel. I was surprised and super happy about that lol The tubes are small but you get enough and you don’t need to use a whole lot anyways so they will last a little while. Especially since theres so many different colors to choose from! I love that they include little stars and gemstones and other things to decorate. They also include the glue for them gems as well! I also like that they include in the instructions how to remove the polygel. Heads-up… You will need a drill to file down the polygel quite a bit, then soak them off. As far as the application goes, it’s a bit tricky at first with the dual forms. The trick is to not use too much gel. I also had trouble with the underside flooding. I think not using too much polygel can help with that too. The point is that there is definitely a learning curve lol it took me about 2 hours but I know the more I do it and get the hang of it and master my technique, the faster it will be. I’ve only had the gel on for a day but so far they seem pretty sturdy. No chipping or lifting yet lol if I can get at least a week out of this set, my expectations will be far beyond exceeded. I thoroughly enjoyed doing my nails with this kit. I LOVEEEE MY NAILSSS!!!! 10/10 would highly highly recommend.

The kit works well but it is a bit mess and hard to use the first couple times. I found it most difficult to keep the layers even and move the product around to get them even and there was little instruction on how to do that properly. I wish it came with a couple more clips so I could do more fingers at the same time. The light provided works, but I found that one with an opening on one side and lights down the side works better for the product. With the light provided, you will need to cure them longer than mentioned and I recommend flipping them to make sure they are fully cured before doing anything else. The polish bottles for the base and whatnot are tiny so be mindful of that but overall nice colors and a good amount of product for the price.

I appreciate the concept for beginners as it produces some decent results. My 14 yr old did hers and she has never done nails before and they turned out decent. I was a nail tech and I was able to manipulate the materials to do on my own. It has a different consistency than builder gel. I prefer the builder gel. I did not like the clips. It squished too much material out of the sides and back. I also noticed that a lot of material gathers at the underside of the nail near the free edge. And with the delicate touch you have to have with the dual form it’s not easy to brush it away so it leaves a thick underside. I sold all my gel tools so I didn’t have my drill with my diamond bit to file out all the excess material. My overall opinion is that it is great for beginners but for someone who has experience in using builder gel I would definitely choose that instead. I’m not sure how removal is, I saw someone else’s review on a different side saying that it did not come off with acetone but I’m not sure if she filed the surface down which I did see in the instruction booklet that you have to file a decent amount of material away from the top so that the acetone can penetrate and dissolve. I’m not sure of the longevity as I only did them yesterday evening. A lot of people don’t realize that proper nail prep is VITAL to the longevity of any manicure or artificial nail. So those who say they came off the next day I’m thinking that was most likely due to improper prep. Hope this helps!

First time trying any poly extension gel nail kit and I think it came out pretty nice tbh , some of the colors are not the same as the pics they provided or showin on bottles there lighter which is okay I will definitely be using this again instead of goin to the salon ( still have to shape the nail some more ) otherwise everything is good!

The product was really cheap when I bought it about a year ago. The poly gel is transparent and sort of oily when it cures. The base coat and top coat aren’t the best either. The forms are flimsy and if you use the slip solution it will lose its structure too. I don’t even use the slip solution anymore because it just doesn’t work for me. So I use rubbing alcohol instead and then I put a matte top coat so that I can actually file them how I want them if not then it leaves product behind. The poly gel is really runny too. The nail glue doesn’t work at all. Also the mold don’t work for me personally, my nails are the problem on that one.

I got lots of compliments on my nails when I did them using this kit I damaged my nails pretty badly taking off all the gel. They were torn apart and so I’ve had to take a break from using it for a while. I wish it came with all the stuff I needed to remove them properly. The nails are themselves are so cute. Super useful helps with strengthening nails too if your nails break quite a bit just make sure you don’t rip them off and remove them through the proper process. I have to wait to get all the items I need to get the proper removal items before I can use this kit again, but other than that, I’d say it’s a pretty dang good product
