Inexpensive, but is adequate for occasional use.
Bought this cane to carry in my trunk-bag on my electric bike to use when I stop and walk on uneven ground. It uses the stretch cord system and simply pulls apart. It has a knurled plastic ring on the end of the section that moves out of the handle to set the height. It looks like it would loosen or tighten the two sections, but it is just to rotate the section with the adjustment button so you can find the hole. This cane is too light weight for daily use, but it folds up to just under 11 inches. So, it is handy as a back-up to a higher quality can for temporary use. I own other canes, some of which I ordered from Amazon. Check for my review of those canes

Works great after surgery
I purchased this for my husband after we were in a car accident and he had to have multiple surgeries on the knee and ankle. He got cleared to learn how to walk again while putting pressure on his foot but the doctor stated he needed to use a cane during recovery. This one was a great price and he liked the color so I ordered it for him. He’s been using it every day since. The dr said he will need to use it for the next 3 months until he sees him for the next follow up. My husband is in his 40’s and didn’t want to use a cane but this one has a sleek stylish look and he doesnt mind it. We didn’t really get it for the folding capabilities but it is a nice feature to have whenever we are able to start going places I can store it easily in my purse. He did have to adjust the height and it was very easy to do with the push in buttons to lock it in place. Seems very durable so far and he definitely puts it to use. Recommend if your needing this especially after any surgery or recovery time.

Do not use this for....
Be careful about this cane. It is NOT medical grade for someone who is dependent on it for walking. It is flimsy because of the "folding". I am disabled and this is just not medically durable for me. Just be careful. It is very practical in appearance only. They were very gracious to allow me to get my money back.

Not for tall people
If you are 5'10 or over this cane is not recommended nor if you are over 160 pounds as it is very wobbly...
