Meanwhile, my old cast iron pan—normally the difficult one—started to look almost forgiving in comparison. Cleaning it only added to the confusion. The pan looked fine afterward, which made the sticking feel even more frustrating. Eventually, I left a 1-star review in frustration. Update (April 2026): I’ve since revisited how I use it, and the outcome has changed significantly. The turning point was surprisingly simple: butter. With a proper amount (around a tablespoon) and better heat control, the performance improved a lot. No sticking, and a much more consistent cooking experience overall. This seems like a heavy well-made pan, and my first week of cooking eggs demonstrated that the non-stick surface really works with minimal to no oil. The surface is very slippery and eggs did not stick at all.
