A very candid account and done well.
Still reading it but most interesting. Packed with detail of this man's life.

Eye opening and thought-provoking
Thought provoking and great read. Just goes to prove my philosophy of everyone is dealing with their own issues and w shouldn't be so quick to judge. Plus love The Hoff.

David Hasselhoff Autobiography
Brought as a gift for someone else, so can't comment on the book itself. Though it came well packed and in good time as with all Amazon.co.uk orders.

Excellent
Whether you are a fan of David's or just love to read biographies this is an excellent book.David writes from the heart and shares with us his joys and despair. It gives us insight to the man himself, (the star of "Knight Rider", "Baywatch" and the talent he has for singing). We find out about his working life and his home life and the struggles he's had throughout and finally come to terms with everything to straighten his life out.Besides being just the average every day guy he's met some wonderful people which he also shares with us.I'm a great fan of David's, (both his acting and singing), I have grown up watching both his shows and listening to his music, so this book has been great to read.Books like this that the star wants to share with is always great, I just wish the media would let people in the public eye have a private life and let the star decide whether they want to share their life with others, and all the charity work he's done for sick children. That is why I enjoy reading biographies; they are a great insight to the individual.I found this a compelling book, it has some lovely colour and black and white illustrations, it was very interesting and enjoyable. It's a book I shall read again and it was worth every penny. :-)

Is there no beginning to his talents?
We, the unworthy public, are allowed an insight into the living legend that is David Hasselhoff. One cannot underestimate the gratitude which we should be showing.David shares with us what it is like to be a globe-straddling supernova of a star - that this incredible individual is mere skin and bones like the rest of us may come as a surprise. The 2nd division footballer's bubble perm, the carefully sculpted mullet, the medallion nestling in those chest hairs - it's all here.I have sold most of my other books - for me there can be nothing more significant, I laughed, I cried, I broke wind - this book will have you questioning the very philosophy of life itself. The song 'Hot Shot City' is particularly good.

Fun Read
I was a big Baywatch fan back in its heyday, and still catch reruns on Pluto TV. For me, the show was Must Watch TV way back when. I wasn't much of a Knight Rider fan, and not much of a fan of David's music, but that's not the point. The book was a really fun read for me, and I thought he spent just the right amount of time on each phase of his life. The book is getting a little older now (aren't we all?) and it would be fun to have him do an update on his life since the book...maybe on Kindle or something like that. If you are a Hasselhoff fan, Baywatch, Knight Rider, fan of his music, etc., I'd recommend this book for you. I know I enjoyed it.

The Hoff is the man!
This is an inspirational book for Hoff fans. We see the ups and downs of his singing and acting career, but not only that, we get the inspiration to succeed in life, just as the Hoff has done. It is a great read!

Long live the Hoff!!!!
What can I say about David? It's all between those hardback bindings. He's funny, hardworking, serious, honest, hopeful, and determined. Most of all, he is, just like the rest of us, Human! He definitely pours his soul out to the reader in this book, and he isn't afraid of it, either. You definitely see it all here. His joy, his pain, his triumphs, his mistakes. When I saw him in Knight Rider, I thought he was on another plane, unreachable. Reading his own words gave him more of a down to earth persona for me. A real page-turner from start to finish!!!
