Good replacement boots
These were ordered as an identical pair to replace worn out ones. They are exactly the same and fit well. A very good everyday walking boot.

Almost great
I wear walking boots primarily to walk my pooch, and every pair lasts about six months before starting to let in water, no matter the brand or price. I hoped these might buck the trend but, regrettably, these too have started to let in water after about six months. I have re-proofed them but not entirely waterproof now. Shame as they are so comfy and great for walking an hour or more. Maybe need to invest in wellies for the wet.

Comfortable, appear very well made
Bought these specifically for trail walking over grass, gravel, dirt tracks, and pavement. Although I have only had them for a week I have to say that straight out of the box they appear very well made. A combination of suede, rubber, and breathable mesh that keeps the feet warm and comfortable. Good support at the heel and ankle as well. The inner membrane is supposed to keep you dry in the wet. The weather has been shockingly decent this week so haven't been able to test this. But as these are marketed as waterproof I would expect them to be up to the job, and the countless decent reviews on Amazon back this up. The good think with these having suede uppers is that you can invest in some good spray on wax solution to increase the waterproofing. I doubt if these would keep you dry from a heavy downpour or prolonged immersion, but would see you through light showers, drizzle, puddles, etc.The other positive that I like about these is the stitched rubber reinforcement at the toe and heel. This is a feature of other expensive branded shoes, and nice to see here. The cushioning from the removable insert is also very welcome.Overall, for the price I think these are very good value. Not Gore-Tex but then if they were they would be more expensive. For £60 I am pretty pleased. I bought these with Prime delivery and got them the next day. My sister bought a womens pair of the same shoe direct from Mountain Warehouse and got them 3 days later. Enough said...

They are walking shoes
I bought these as a bit of a punt after not being able find my normal preferred shoes due to them no longer being manufactured anymore. I don't walk high miles but I have found them to be relatively comfortable. i bought a size 6 and found them to be true to size. I bought a brown pair and although it wasn't a deal breaker I was a little surprised to see that the color was actually more of a dark mossy green. I obviously can't vouch for the durability just yet but I am hoping they will last me a good while. Just a bit of a observation I bought my shoes mid February for £35 and it ios now early March and they are now priced at £55 I am happy with my purchase but I very much doubt I would of bought them at the higher priceUpdate after my initial purchase these shoes only lasted only 5 months of light walking and the sole ended up wearing right down to the nub. Returned for a full refund

Not great, but not awful either
I’ve had these boots since Oct 2020 and wear them most days for walking our dogs. The good: - They really are waterproof. Ive walked many times in long, wet grass, or through deep puddles and they’ve never let water in. - The fit and size is expected. I’m a UK 10 and the size 10 of these boot fit fine. - Once broken in, they’re comfortable. Maximum I’ve worn them for in one go is around 10 miles, I think any more than this and I’d have had sore feet the next day.The bad: - I’ve not even had these 2 years and the sole has completely worn through. - Before breaking them in they were really tough. I’m ex-Army so have feet like leather, but they still took some breaking in.All in all they’re ok boots, but overall my Regatta boots that were 20% cheaper were better overall.

Walking trainers
After reading various reviews re walking style trainers the most talked about topic is size. I normally buy a size 12 and always need a wider fitting. For these therefore I purchased them in a 13. I'm so glad I did or they would be getting returned right now. So the fit is definitely NOT true to size. I'm currently wearing them in the house and they feel OK to walk in, not super all singing all dancing cushioned softness but rather a well supported just comfortable fit. Time will tell when walking outside as some walks for me are approximately 8 to 12 miles or so. Heels, ankles and arches feel well supported, I normally have issues with the balls of my feet so as said only time will tell. They look good and well finished for the price.

long review
as long as I'd been impressed with these shoes I will give you some thoughts - pro and contra:pro: I am wearing 9'5UK so I choose size 10UK that fits perfectly. first impression on a foot it's like shoes actually carrying you. I read some comments that said it is not good for running, I found it is good enough, very light and comfortable. material and stitches quite expensive why I gave 5 star for value. protectors are good enough to protect your foot from the roots and stones on the road.contra: as it is not a high shoes some hikers may found it is not holding you ankle enough.Summary: it is very good shoes for short trips (I am doing 6-10 miles every day) on the hills and in the forest. if you need to walk for all the day it is probably better to look for something holding you ankle.
