This windproof umbrella has been an excellent purchase. It is compact enough to fit easily in my backpack and car door pocket, but it is surprisingly sturdy when opened. I've used it during heavy rain and strong winds, and it has held up much better than other travel umbrellas I've owned. The frame feels strong and well-made, and the canopy provides great coverage without being bulky. I especially like how quickly it opens and closes, making it convenient when getting in and out of the car. We bought two of these compact, heavy-duty umbrellas for a trip two years ago. They are great! They're easy to pack, store, open, and use. They didn't blow out in windy rain. We keep them handy and use off and on, especially when traveling. Then about 2 months ago, a little piece broke off the top of the umbrella. It still opened and closed, but I was concerned that the fabric and the frame would separate without that piece. Too much time had passed to address the issue through Amazon, so I went to their Tumella website. It was easy to find. I submitted a Lifetime Warranty request, and their very quick response was a request for shipping information. The agent was attentive and helpful, and the new umbrella arrived a few days later. This is a Lifetime Warranty with no questions asked and no hassle! Thanks!

Stopped working after 2nd use. Doesnt retract fully and won't stay opened even when trying manually.<(obsolete) EDIT: The orignal product I recieved was faulty, maybe damaged in shipping or it skipped QC. I was sent a new product within days of citing a complaint. Literally overnight shipped, which was great because I'm in the heavy rainy season and was almost tempted to buy another, but glad I waited a day. This umbrella is truly phenomenal, I do like the breather flaps on top that allow winds to pass through rather than creating upward currents/draffs, which would turn the umbrella inside out. Will buy for friends and would like to change my rating to 5-stars but can't some reason. May have to delete this review and put a fresh one up. Thank you for your phenomenal customer support, I'll recommend you to everyone. (I'll send updates and pics in the future) ***Well an update a day later, it does NOT hold up to any wind at all. It's not broken, but instantly flipped inside out from a random gust of wind during a quick little rain snap. Smallest gust and it flipped. I just let and arm get wet while I held it down but eventually gave up and ran back inside(was trying to save all the kitties outside because they aren't smart enough to run for shelter yet). Still happy with the purchase for the price. Most people don't have umbrellas so I'm still happy with the purchase. Not sure what the 100+mph guarantee means. Maybe those wind speeds cant break it but it will turn inside out, idk...

I had an excellent umbrella that I had for years, I left it somewhere. In looking for a similar quality I found the Tumella umbrella. I ordered it. When it came I was impressed with packaging and top quality. I opened it and immediately saw a loose connection so I contacted the company. There was s very quick response and after sending pictures the company replaced the umbrella without question. I am extremely pleased with Tummela. They do what they say. I highly recommend them. The new umbrella is strong and well built. I like it.

Larger than standard and large enough to not need a “golf” sized. Light for its size. Good material. Bright yellow color is lovely - and yellow, not the weird yellow that’s being used these days. Use the button to open AND close and a simple push on top and bottom to compact it back to storage. I have bus duty at school and I’ve had to two other “inexpensive” umbrellas that have bent and been discarded. This one is durable and feels like it will last for years. Super product and super price. I’m going to buy more as gifts for my coworkers.

I’m so impressed with both the quality of this umbrella and the company’s customer service. The umbrella is beautiful, very sturdy, and clearly made with excellent craftsmanship. I originally purchased one in 2025, and after using it for quite a while, I had an issue where I could no longer fold it properly. I contacted the company to let them know because I truly loved the umbrella. They responded almost immediately, and to my surprise, they shipped me a replacement right away. The umbrella looks nice, feels well built, and easy to use. Have used in sunny, windy, and rainy conditions - does a good job. A tiny amount of water gets through the wind vents under extremely heavy rain, but this can be mitigated by holding the umbrella at a steady angle. So far it's a reasonable compromise considering how well it's holding up during heavy rain and wind.

Like many, we have purchased several umbrellas that have disappointed in their quality and longevity. We decided to purchase two of these. Delivery was quick and we are very pleased with the quality and build. To use, remove from the holder, unravel the velcro tie and push the button in the handle. The spring-assisted opening is instant,and strong, so please avoid opening in close proximity to another person. If you are inclined, you can assist the opening speed by partially dampening the opening by pressure on the top. A bonus of the effort necessary to close the umbrella should be deemed as a comfortable physical exercise for the arms and chest! But, that displays the strength of the mechanism, and is supported by a lifetime warranty. We are very pleased and confident our umbrellas will outlive us and continue to give good service to our family members. It really is compact, superior, strong, and beautiful,

The umbrella is of a high quality, extremely well made and sturdy with a choice of unique designs. It is a bit bigger and heavier than your average umbrella, but is still compact enough to easily carry in a rucksack/bag. So far has been tested in heavy rain and windy conditions and it hasn’t let me down yet, would recommend
