Badger Air-Brush Co.AS180-15 Airstorm Compressor, Black

This is a great little compressor for hobby use. Seems to be very reliable; noise level acceptable for an item of this type.

Spits water into the paint. makes the airbrush useless. Why do they even sell this?

This is a great little hobby compressor. I use it for airbrushing minis for usually less than an hour at a time several times a week and it's been great. I do wish for the price that it came with a built in or atatchable regulator of some kind as a lot of cheaper compressors have adjustable PSI knobs. Other than that it's a great unit and does exactly what I need.

The compressor works just fine however it came with no instructions, safety info or specifications. Does not list a manufacturer anywhere and does not look anything like the picture.

I use this air compressor to power my Badger airbrush. It pushes just the right amount of power and easily pays for itself in my NOT having to buy cans of Propel anymore. This compressor is rated for occasional use. I use it mostly for painting miniatures and for recoloring fabrics in my film production class. Very reliable.If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to improve the suction feet, which really don't do a good job of holding to surfaces. They do help reduce vibrations, but it would be nice if they actually stuck it down. (Maybe I need to spit in the suction cups? Water doesn't seem to work.)Still, 5 stars for the value based on the price. A better compressor could be gotten for a higher price.

It is not that bad .. it just did not work right at first and the company offered no help

I bought this as my first compressor to go alongside my first airbrush. The description said it was quiet, but I was not expecting just how quiet it was. Firstly, I had it sitting on the same table as I was airbrushing, so that shows how little it rattles/moves. And secondly, the noise level is less than that of my rotary tool or heat gun. I could probably use it in the middle of the night and not wake anyone.

It works as intended. The adapter fittings were a little leaky, so the compression cut-off was not really engaging, A little teflon tape in the threading fixed it, though.
