I got this stainless steel flat beater for my 7QT KA stand mixer to replace the coated beater included by the manufacturer. It fits perfectly and works as well as the KA original part. It has a solid, sturdy, heavy feel to it. It's dishwasher-safe and is easier to clean than the OEM part. I like putting this beater in the freezer to get cold before I whip cream and egg whites, making the process quicker and yield better results.

I use it almost every day to make bread. Can't really tell the difference in the dough when using the stainless steel vs plastic dough hook, but the stainless steel looks and feels stronger. Would recommend 👍
