Awesome Soundbar!
I bought this soundbar for my 40 something inch Vizio TV that I use in my living room. This TV in particular seems to have speakers only on the back of the TV which means even with the TV sound turned all the way up the sound quality was terrible and I could barely hear a thing! It sounded like my TV was in a box! It was absolutely neccessary for me to purchase a soundbar. I wanted a nice middle of the road soundbar that would give me a good listening experience but that wasn't some big investment and I did a bit of research on them before ultimately deciding just to give this one a try. It came quickly and was packed very well. It was actually quite a bit of work to get it out of its manufacturing package. I was able to mount it below my TV that is on a rolling TV stand and place the subwoofer in the back of the room on the floor in a stationary place. The soundbar is the perfect size for my 40 something inch tv and has a great sleek look. It seems to be made very well and is comparable to any other soundbar I've ever seen in person. The subwoofer is also not too big or too small and it's not very noticeable at all sitting on the floor in the back of my room. It's very reasonably sized and blends in well. The only thing I don't like about the subwoofer is that the power cord plugs into the front of the subwoofer which looks pretty dumb. The remote it comes with works well. The soundbar is easy to figure out and use and the sound quality so far has been great. It really changes my whole experience when watching my TV. It makes me feel like I'm in a movie theatre. Being that this soundbar was very reasonably priced, is of great quality and has great sound I am 100% happy with my choice to purchase this specific soundbar and I think anyone else would be as well.

The BEST Audio Experience with VIZIO V-Series 2.0 Sound Bar
I recently added the VIZIO V-Series 2.0 Compact Home Theater Sound Bar (V20-J8) to my entertainment setup, and it has exceeded all expectations, delivering a stellar audio experience in a sleek and compact design. The DTS Virtual:X technology works wonders in creating a surround sound atmosphere without the need for additional speakers. Whether I'm watching movies, streaming shows, or playing games, the immersive audio quality adds a new dimension to my viewing experience. The sound is crisp, clear, and fills the room, making every moment more engaging. One of the standout features for me is the Bluetooth connectivity. Pairing the sound bar with my devices is a breeze, and the wireless streaming capability allows me to enjoy my favorite playlists with impressive sound quality. The Bluetooth feature also adds convenience for those who want to declutter their space without compromising on audio performance. The inclusion of voice assistant compatibility is a thoughtful touch. Being able to control the sound bar with my voice using a compatible assistant enhances the overall user experience. It's a testament to VIZIO's commitment to keeping up with modern technology trends. The compact design of the sound bar is another plus. It fits seamlessly into my entertainment setup without taking up much space. The minimalist aesthetic adds a touch of sophistication to my living room, and the included remote control ensures easy navigation and customization of settings. Setting up the VIZIO V-Series sound bar was a straightforward process, and the user-friendly interface makes it accessible for everyone. The remote control is intuitive, and the on-screen display provides clear feedback when adjusting settings. So impressed with Vizio yet again
Bought the 36" 2.1 version of this to go in the basement on a $270 58" TCL TV. In other words, I just wanted something loud(ish) and decent to overcome the barely-adequate-for-a-soap-opera speakers that came with the TV. This is my 3rd (maybe 4th??) Vizio soundbar over the years. Previous purchases have always been focused on the high-end of the Visio line with 5.1 surround and much larger subwoofers. And those things have always been pretty great for what they were. The bass is outstanding on those larger subwoofers. Now I'm not an audiophile, by any means. Which means that I'm not one to add $$$$$ to a speaker/driver setup in order to further myself down the road of diminishing returns. I like something that is loud, good enough, and lets me hear dialog in movies while getting pumped when working out to music. So that's me. And I spent $110 on this unit to go in a basement setup because my son decided to abscond with the old 38" 4k monitor that I *was* using in the basement instead. I had a 2.1 speaker setup hooked up to it that; and while great for its day, it was long in the tooth at 10-15 years old and literally had just finally failed on me a couple of weeks early. So I was down to nothing and bought the TV on a whim at Costco to go down there. I then needed some speakers, didn't want to spend a lot of money, and decided on these since I have always enjoyed Vizio's stuff in the past. I'd be lying if I said I was expecting much of anything. My old speaker setup was purchased long ago at $300 - $350 refurbished. It was a NICE PC speaker setup for its day. And it wasn't even a brand anyone would recognize, I don't think. It was just one of those things where that particular unit was 'a thing' in the moment when I needed to buy it back in the day. Having pretty good 2.1 pc speakers has always made it tough for me. to buy anything else because it seems like every unit is compromised in some way. Anway, I went with this Vizio unit, thinking that it is just the basement, and I can deal with less-than-ideal sound. So I got it in, plugged in the arc cable, loaded Spotify on the google tv os and let 'er rip. And, wow! The sound isn't quite as outrageous as the old setup (that failed on me recently), but it's damn loud ... certainly loud enough to fill out the basement. The base thumps. I can hear things. It's great. Like, so great I'm thinking "what else could anyone need unless they're just trying to move up the $$$$ chain for some halo level system. Bravo Vizio. I didn't expect to be delighted, but I am. So, now I have 3 Vizio systems in my house. One in my living room TV, one on my PC (yes, I'm using a soundbar on my PC atm), and now this one in the basement. And they are all awesome.

loud finally
I have a hearing deficit and can watch Chicago Fire without subtitles! Easy setup and the shipper was terrific. Good tone on the sound bar also.
