I use the SmartLife app for my lights and lamps and wanted a device for a spare key that was not only secure but easy to use. I set this up in about 15 min including unboxing, connecting and adding the few people and codes I wanted to add with codes.A couple things to note - the codes are long! So you will need more than 4 numbers (I think it was 8 minimum but I used a different # for each). If you are putting this on a door knob it is easy but you will need to open it fully, remove the door knob hanger, put that around the knob then attach the box. It’s a bit different than other similar ones found in the store. I think this felt more secure. Obviously that could go around many things but it’s a tight fit on the knob so know you can’t use it on a larger item.I’ve not had any connection issues with it and I’ve been able to open it using my phone when not home as well.There is plenty of room for a key, check, some small items, so I do think you will want a key or something with a little keychain so it doesn’t get missed in the box.

As a Bluetooth only lock, I really like this lock. But I needed a Wi-Fi lock I could administer from afar, which this is not. If you are looking for just a Bluetooth lock box, I recommend it although - what’s the point? If I have to be 50 feet away to administer it what is the point? Might as well spend $10 and get a manual lock. I gave it a 4 stars because again as a Bluetooth only lock, it worked great. But the Bluetooth functionality really doesn’t help me. Sending back

Best lock box ever!Plenty of room to put keys, key fob, and garage door opener! Option to have more than one code as well, one code per assigned user for that code! Life altering!

Buyer beware - if you buy the Smart Key Lock Box expect to find your own plug-in charger because the one they send with it does not work. The plug does not match up to the plug on the lock!

You can also screw this box to the wall if you don't want to hang it on a pipe or door knob. I chose a pipe application - I may switch to the wall eventually. The application set up with only a little fuss, and it found the lock box no problem. The permanent code also set up easily. I was able to invite family members to join the group successfully.When you request a one time code or a time limited code, it generates it randomly for you. If you want to set your own combination, you have to select the 'custom' option. The one time code worked fine. When I went to test the time limited code, I tested it right away, but didn't share it with anyone. I couldn't figure out how to get back to the code, and when I tried to create a new code, it told me that I could only have one time limited code at a time - so I would have to wait an hour to create a new one and test it again. Be sure to send the code to yourself or a recipient right away or you could be in a fix. It works well, and would be hard to break into.It takes four AAA batteries. If there are not batteries or the batteries are dead, you have to plug the box into a power source. Hopefully you could use a phone charger, and not have to remove the box if it is fixed to the wall.

This smart lockbox is great for great for controlling access. I use this for an Airbnb and this lockbox makes it easy for me to change the code in between guests - I find that to be a valuable feature. Its a good deal at this price and I have since ordered a second one.
