Researching shave creams, I've heard people fondly recommend Proraso. Upon further investigation, I found C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream is private labelled by Proraso for C.O. Bigelow. Some suggest C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream is actually Proraso Red with the scent of Proraso Green. Being about the same price, I decided to purchase the C.O. Bigelow.Placing a small dollop into my shaving bowl, I was perturbed with how little lather I managed to stir up with my shave brush. However, upon applying to my face, a slick & slightly foamy lather was achieved. In no way was it foamy as the typical Barbasol, but enough for a comfortable shave. My face felt invigorated as I effortlessly glided my razor around my face. Feeling clean & fresh, I was impressed with the quality of my shave.Shaving has now become a ritual meditation, instead of a chore. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream is a great shaving product, which I plan to continue purchasing, perhaps possibly giving Proraso products a try to compare. I love C.O. Bigelow shaving products and their lightly-mentholated shave cream is one of my favorites! The cream is very easy to dispense and lather and the tube is easy to store. And while my razor glides through with ease, there is ample cushioning for sensitive skin, as well. Lastly - the smell is excellent and the eucalyptus oil provides an invigorating sensation. I highly recommend it!

When Giovanni recently discontinued their Tea Tree/Mint Shaving Cream (Green Tube), we had a small crisis in our house. My husband has sensitive skin and it was the ONLY shaving cream he liked... and we've tried countless options in every price point. The new Giovanni replacement is cloying and not sensitive skin-friendly. SIGH! So, while searching resources online, I ran across the C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream for sensitive skin. It had great reviews and was reasonably priced, so I gave it a shot. We finally have a winner! It's a much different product than the old Giovanni (a little goes a long away and it doesn't really "lather"), but my husband says it provides amazing razor glide and produces the closest shave ever. The scent is clean and subtle and, most importantly, doesn't irritate his sensitive skin at all. The fantastic reviews are well-earned. Thank you, C.O Bigelow!

My favorite shaving cream! It smells great, feels great, and provides a pretty smooth shave. The minty feeling it leaves on my face is very pleasant. Highly recommend!

I really love this shaving cream. I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and eczema and shave my scalp as well as my face. This calms everything right down and I get a close, clean shave with no irritation.

Pleasant, strong scent. Makes a good shave. Very concentrated. Useful for travel, if you buy the smaller size.

Easy to apply and you don't need much. Mt razor glides like it is on glass. Close shave and great scent.
