Bright, compact and just works! I also own two Coast G60R flashlights and they're great, but I think I like this better because sometimes it's good to have a flashlight that uses easy-to-purchase AAA batteries. You can buy a rechargeable battery pack for this model but it is expensive. If you want rechargeable get the G60R model which includes rechargeable batteries.

Outstanding light. I use a flashlight every day and this one has really worked out well. I've had it about a month. So far it's super bright, twists easily to go from flood to spot, price was very good, and has a nice knurled rubber grip. And I've dropped it a few times from about 5ft with no problems. Still working great. I would recommend this product.

Pros: This item is overall pretty nice. It is definitely water resistant, I ran it under my sink for a while multipletimes and it still functioned, even when turned on. The beam is pretty bright. It is pretty lightweight as well, even with the batteries. It is also affordable in the world of flashlights which is nice. Cons: My only three issues. 1.It does not come with the rechargeable battery and housing. To buy one is more expensive than the product itself. 2. The AAA batteries heat up pretty quick on turbo mode, within 20-30 minutes of use. 3. I am not positive, I trust the company but the outer material feels more like an industrial plastic or polymer vs aluminum.

Great product very bright and lasts a long time

All Coast flashlights I have, have been very good. And they do honor the warranty. I lost one and a few years later I ran across it. The batteries had deteriorated and would not come out. I contacted them and all they wanted were a couple of pics. They sent a new flashlight.

So, this is my third coast flashlight and I didn't really "need" another one, but my original Coast flashlight is suffering from some issues where it seems to have a poor connection with the power supply. What I like about these flashlights is they still offer battery powered options, instead of a "rechargeable" variant. I like having the freedom of always being able to plug in fresh batteries and the flashlight works and not have to worry about a rechargeable battery degrading over time. In addition, the price is much better positioned for what you get and for this specific model I really like the textured/rubberized surface which really makes it great to hold. Rear button activation is my preferred method, so it has everything I want. It's plenty bright but could always be brighter! Unsure how long the batteries will last, but it did come with 4 already pre-installed and ready to go and then I'll be switching to my eneloop rechargeables when those die off.

Well made and very versatile. Several modes are nice but make it a little tedious to get to the brightest setting. All in all very pleased. Clear bright light and fully adjustable flood

I misunderstood. You can buy the rechargeable battery separately. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good flashlight though. Overall, it’s still worth having around.

The flashlight has a great brightness and is very light. One of Coast previous flashlights had a magnetic feature which was great when storing it-wish this one had the same thing. Other than that I would definitely recommend.
