CIARRA Portable Range Hood, 2-Speed Desktop Kitchen Exhaust Fan

Works great. I can't have a hood the way my kitchen is laid out. Now I don't set off the fire alarms when I fry.

This worked well but was too big for our needs so will be returning.

Pretty good at reducing smells. The outer shell will soften when exposed to heat ans eventually warp.

If you don’t have a vent or fan at the top of your stove, you need to get this item now! This item helps with smell and smoke mitigation. It’s compact where it doesn’t take too much space on the counter and it is easy to clean. 10/10 recommend for small areas and spaces.

The quality looks super nice and it's a lot bigger then I thought it would be. I wish it worked though so I could see the power and suction but unfortunately no matter how I follow the directions, and plug it in, it won't turn on. I think I got a faulty device unfortunately.

Very impressed! Easy to clean too! No smoke in the house

I do not have a hood over my stove and I can't have one based on the architecture of my kitchen. My stove is in the middle of the room with a 35 foot ceiling above it. I can't have a hood going 35 feet up! So, steam, oil smoke, and smoke just vent up to the ceiling. I decided to see if this device is a viable option. It's well packaged and has nice documentation to explain how to operate it. It's is nice looking, kind of "cute". I would like for it to be a bit taller with the vent itself arched over so you can better position it over a skillet or griddle, etc. I browned some butter to cook a pinwheel stuffed steak and it got real smoky with smoke and oil smoke really fast. So, I tried this out. It actually did pull in the smoke AND there was some oil in the container, showing it does actually work. But the fan/suction of pulling the smoke in is fairly weak, so a lot escapes. Check out my video for that. Later, my son put a sandwich in the airfryer and it was dripping some grease an started smoking. We brought this device over and, in that case, it did a great job pulling all the smoke and filtering it. So, it works well in more contained areas. I think it might be a little bit high priced for what it can do. But if you don't have other options it might be worth it to you to give it a shot!

This hood didn’t even last a year!!! Steer away.
